Should I switch from 0w20 to 0w30 for stage 1 ?
Heyo, I have a golf 8 2.0tdi EA288 evo 150ps/148hp and 360nm/266lb ft DTTC 2022. I know its just a diesel but even so I want more power. I would gain about 50ps/49hp and about 80nm/59lb ft.
I have read a lot on the internet that with an increase in horsepower, you should use a thicker oil. This is because the power increase creates stronger forces inside the engine, and the oil gets hotter.
Do you have any experience with this, and what would you recommend?
