Making your models pop on the table?

Hello, I'm in the process of painting up my flesh tearers army and I'm just a little concerned with making them "pop" for lack of a better term while on the table top. I love the colour scheme when looking at them as an individual piece but when I put my flesh tearers next to my blood angels they end up just kind of looking like very dark blobs. Does anyone have tips on how to make them stand out a bit?

I haven't done the basing on them yet so I was thinking of either a very white sand or snow base to make the contrast a little starker. Any tips would be appreciated!

First blood angels finally painted

Just thought I'd share my guys. I've painted a few models for kill team but these will be the start of my first actual army. Very much looking forward to continuing and improving

Running Flesh Tearers and Blood Angels together.

Hi all!

I've been a Blood Angels and Flesh Tearers fan for a long time but have recently started getting into painting in earnest, eventually Id like to play some table top as well. Obviously the blood Angels have more character units and support from GW, so I started painting my guys as BA, but the Flesh Tearers colour scheme, lore and general vibe just calls to me on a deeper level.

My question is, since I've already started painting one squad as BA, could I do most of my army as FT and just have this one squad of BA,( plus I'd like to get Dante eventually). Or if I do that am I going to get some funny looks/questions when play people later on?

Thank you!

Advice for Archie's Forge winged jump packs

I'm very new to collecting blood angels and the hobby in general. I was wondering if anyone knows if these fit onto the Sanguinary Guard and Commander Dante models. They look so much better than the tiny little wings that come with the regular models and I'd love to add them. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, just looking for some clarification, particularly in regards to for and scale. Thanks in advance!
