Hi everyone,

I'm trying to decide between the following offers:

• BITS Hyderabad – M.E. VLSI Design & Microelectronics
• IIT Madras – M.Tech Control & Optimization
• IIT BHU – M.Tech DISE (Department of Electrical Engineering)

My primary goal is to get a good placement after my master's.
I have a few questions:

1. Which of these programs would provide the best placement opportunities overall?
2. Is the IIT Madras tag enough to outweigh the branch difference, or is a specialized VLSI program at BITS Hyderabad a better choice?
3. How are the placement opportunities for IIT BHU DISE compared to the other two?

I have a GATE EC score of 653 (OBC-NCL), so I believe I have a reasonable chance of getting M.Tech VLSI at NIT Warangal. At the same time, I have received an offer for M.E. VLSI Design & Microelectronics at BITS Hyderabad through HD test mode.

I'm trying to decide between these two options.

If you had these two options, which one would you choose and why?

Any recent placement statistics or personal experiences would be very helpful.
Also Do I have any chance of getting NIT surathkal ?
