Hello everyone,

I urgently need help.

Yesterday my desktop PC installed a Windows update. Since then, the PC starts normally up to the Windows login screen, but my mouse and keyboard don't work at all anymore. I can't even enter my password.

I have already tested the following:

* Multiple USB ports (front and back on the motherboard)

* Mouse and keyboard unplugged and plugged back in several times

* PC completely switched off and disconnected from power

It is striking that the LEDs of the mouse and keyboard only light up for about a second when plugged in and then go out again. The same thing happens with my controller.

The PC itself runs normally (fan and lighting work), and I get a picture until the Windows login.

Does anyone have any idea why this could be or how I can fix it? Is it possibly the Windows update's fault or rather a BIOS/mainboard problem?

Hallo zusammen,

ich brauche dringend Hilfe.

Gestern hat mein Desktop-PC ein Windows-Update installiert. Seitdem startet der PC zwar ganz normal bis zum Windows-Anmeldebildschirm, aber meine Maus und Tastatur funktionieren überhaupt nicht mehr. Ich kann deshalb nicht einmal mein Passwort eingeben.

Folgendes habe ich bereits getestet:

* Mehrere USB-Anschlüsse (vorne und hinten am Mainboard)
* Maus und Tastatur mehrfach aus- und wieder eingesteckt
* PC komplett ausgeschaltet und vom Strom getrennt

Auffällig ist, dass die LEDs von Maus und Tastatur beim Einstecken nur für etwa eine Sekunde aufleuchten und dann wieder ausgehen. Dasselbe passiert auch mit meinem Controller.

Der PC selbst läuft ganz normal (Lüfter und Beleuchtung funktionieren), und ich bekomme ein Bild bis zum Windows-Login.

Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte oder wie ich das beheben kann? Ist eventuell das Windows-Update schuld oder eher ein BIOS-/Mainboard-Problem?

The eXtremeRate board seems to get power because the LED reacts, but it only flashes red for about one second and then immediately turns off instead of staying red like in the tutorials. It looks more like a quick flicker than a normal blinking light.If I unplug the cable completely, there is no light at all. I also confirmed that my controller is BDM-050 and the kit is the correct version for it.
