I need advice on returning to running
I started running in January, and fell in love. From January to February I upped my mileage from 20km a week to 50km a week and was basically running flat out each session trying to pr every time. Since March I have been suffering with shin issues (no shit) but never really let them heal or did anything to fix it. I would have 5 days off then run again flat out. I’ve had about 1.5 weeks off now and the pain is lingering in my shin, I’m thinking about waiting another week or until the pain is completely gone before I return. I need advice on mileage, pace etc when I’m back. I also bought the new balance 1080s v15 to do my easy runs in as opposed to my evo sl’s which I did everything in before.
