Bump on back? Cyst?

Bump on back? Cyst?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had their dobie get a bump similar to the one pictured. This one is on his lower back and just feels like a hardened cyst almost. He’s had it for months and it hasn’t grown in size, and the vet didn’t seem concerned about it last time we were there. It’s just not going away and I know Dobermans are prone to skin issues so just wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything similar!

Dose increase = late period?

Hi all, at the beginning of this month my doctor increased my levothyroxine dose from 88 mcg to 100 mcg as my TSH was still stuck at a 7, after dropping from a 13. (It has taken over a year and a half to find a dose that works for me, with gradual increases as we test my levels every 8 weeks). I also have elevated prolactin levels with a 2mm pituitary microadenoma.
I know all of these factors alone can impact menstrual cycles, and my cycles are already VERY short with minimal bleeding. But my period is now 4 days late this month, which is unusual. Wondering if anyone has ever experienced a missed or delayed period due to an increase in their levo dose?

Thanks!

Major increase in TSH

Hey guys,

Quick background info: diagnosed last may officially with Hashimoto’s when they found my high antibodies and a TSH of 8. Started meds and it took about 7-8 months to find a dose that got my TSH in range (at a 2). I take 75 MCG of Levo every morning, and wait an hour-hour and a half before eating or drinking anything.

Got my routine bloodwork done yesterday as I go every 9 weeks and follow up with my doctor, and my TSH jumped from a 2.83 in march to a 13.62 as of yesterday. I see my doctor in two weeks but curious if anyone has seen a jump in their TSH this significant after being “in range” for a while..? I will say despite being in range I still do have symptoms and we are monitoring my prolactin levels that are also elevated, and a 2 mm pituitary tumor was found so trying to see if that is having an impact. Any insight is appreciated!

Hey guys! I’m just posting this here because it’ll be a whole month and a half before I see my doctor to go over results, and just wanted to see if anyone has had similar readings on their MRI and what it meant for them. For background, the reason why I got the MRI was because my prolactin levels came back elevated at 43.8 NG/mL. I do have Hashimoto’s with hypothyroidism, but my thyroid levels have been stable for a few months now with medication. My symptoms currently are very short periods with light bleeding, extreme fatigue and I’ve had no libido for years now. :/ got my MRI results back and this was the finding that stood out to me:

IMPRESSION:

Very subtle areas of diminished enhancement measuring 2 mm on the sagittal postcontrast pituitary MRI suggesting microadenoma. No mass effect.

Any insight or shared experiences are valued <3
