We took our 17m to the dentist yesterday and found out she has 4 cavities, the first four teeth in the upper jaw. Our little girl eats such a healthy diet, no processed or added sugars EVER, and we are pretty good about brushing his teeth (non-fluoride paste though as per doctor’s advise).

We cosleep and I breastfeed her before bedtime and when she wakes up, as well as throughout the night.

Our dentist has asked us to proceed with SDF application This is upsetting since it’s the front four teeth, and the application would turn her teeth black permanently. I feel so distressed especially as a mother I feel I’ve failed her. If anyone has had similar experiences, please do share.
