Reta and MOTS-c

Hi folks. 32-year-old woman with T2D and obesity here. I’m in my first month on Reta, and the adaptation has been a bit difficult so far, mainly because of a lot of fatigue.

I’ve seen that quite a few of you are adding MOTS-c to improve energy levels and mitochondrial function.
What protocols are you using? What doses? Any side effects? What are your overall impressions? Any dos and don’ts?

Thanks!

Starting Dose, Titration, and Side Effects

Hello ladies! I’m just starting out with Reta. I’m going really low and slow because I’m honestly quite worried about side effects. I’ve seen some pretty unpleasant ones in a friend who started directly at 2 mg and then increased to 4 mg within just a few weeks.

Right now, I’m at 1 mg and don’t feel much yet, which I assume is completely normal at such a low dose. I also haven’t had any side effects so far.

I’d love to hear about your experiences:

What was your starting dose? How much did you increase each time, and how long did you stay at each dose before increasing again?
At what dose did you personally start to really feel the effects of Reta? And how did those effects change as you increased the dose?
I’d also be interested to hear how side effects changed for you during titration.

Thank you!

Reta vs Ozempic for ADHD woman

Hello ! Typical case here: a 32-year-old woman, 112 kg, early T2D, HOMA around 8, insulin resistance since my twenties, severe body dysmorphia, and eating disorders combined with depression.

Most of my life, I was around 85 kg, but then depression hit me, and I gained 25 kg, then lost it, then regained it.

I live in France, and I could get a prescription for Ozempic, but a lot of my friends told me that reta was much more effective for them, with fewer side effects than Ozempic. My request for tirzepatide was denied by the insurance. So I could have Ozempic in pharmacy or reta by my own.

What’s your opinion on that? I’m tired of living in a big and unhealthy body, torturing myself with diets, and suffering from severe hunger and food cravings all the time.

Was anyone here on Ozempic before starting reta? What are your thoughts and insights?
