Here’s a beautiful calcite with some dolomite/dolostone from the legendary Elmwood mine, Carthage, Smith county, Tennessee, USA.
Anatase My favorite of the titanium dioxide trimorph series. It is a fairly uncommon mineral compared to its sister rutile. This specimen comes from Ras Koh mountains, Kharan district, Balochistan, Pakistan

Here’s a really nice anatase from Ras Koh mountains, Kharan district, Balochistan, anatase is part of a polymorph series of titanium dioxide minerals rutile,anatase and brookite. Anatase is my personal favorite of the series. Let me know what you guys think of my specimen
Here’s a cool epidote crystal I found at my uncles mining claim near the Rainbow tungsten mine, Nelson mountain, Fresno County, California. The Area is a 80-100 million year old tungsten skarn deposit rich in calcium silicate minerals and calcium minerals such as the grossular garnets that I’ve posted before.
Here’s a nice lustrous elongated almandine garnet with quartz inside cavities of a rhyolite matrix from Garnet hill, Ely, White Pine County, Nevada, USA. A classic American garnet locality. On a side note specimens from this local are often mislabeled as spessartine garnet. Further chemical analysis has shown that they are far closer to almandine (Iron-Aluminum silicate) than they are to spessartine (Manganese-Aluminum silicate). Anyway let me know what you guys think of my specimen :)
Here’s a very geometric andradite-grossular garnet from the Kayes region, western Mali. It’s amazing the intricate geometric shapes garnet can crystallize in. The hybrids from Mali are often mixed between dodecahedral and trapezohedral.

Here’s a very interesting and aesthetic specimen of small bright red vanadinite on calcite from the Pure Potential mine, La Paz county, Arizona, USA. It is not a large specimen but it sure is beautiful! I really like the contrast between the bright red vanadinite crystals and the milky white calcite.
Here’s a cool specimen of gemmy yellowish green prehnite with calcite and graphite from Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Manyara region, Tanzania. I love prehnite it’s definitely one of my favorite silicate minerals. Let me know what you think of it :)
Here’s a beautiful 5 gram naturally terminated peridot Crystal from Supat valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Even though it’s small it has amazing color! Peridot (olivine) is a common silicate mineral but prismatic terminated crystals are pretty uncommon In nature. Because of the intense conditions it crystallizes under it is commonly found as Anhedral shards and grains. There are a handful of localities that naturally terminated peridot is found such as Myanmar, Egypt and Pakistan. Anyway let me know what you guys think of my specimens :)
