I recently discovered WFMU. I noticed on the Rock N Soul stream, requests are often taken during their AI blocks. Does this stream have a wide playlist of making requests or does it stick mostly to 60s rock which I hear a lot of? I have tried to make several requests but no luck—wondering if I am outside the window of types of songs this will play with my requests?

This gun was given to me by my grandfather and has been in the family since 1860s at least. Fond memories of it hanging on the wall of my grandfather’s home but it looks to be his grandfather’s. I’d love to know more about it! Interesting etchings on it that I have tried to capture.
