An old ratcheting hand drill. To be honest, I’m not quite sure what the application of the ratchet would be used for with this specific tool. It’s evident that it’s fairly old and well used, but it’s in good condition no markings or branding.
So first off, I would like to say that I am very bad with electrical stuff in general, unless it’s the most basic things. Long story short, the wiring for the blinkers and running lights was broken in places I can’t get to without pulling the bike apart to cut the electrical tape that’s wrapped around everything off to find the wire in a bundle of like 20 other wires. So I decided the easiest thing to do since I don’t have any plans for a full teardown (nor do I have the shop for it) was to simply splice new wire from the signal lights to where they’re supposed to go. This worked wonderfully, and I had the wire tied into the power wire coming out of the fuse box for the blinkers, but for some reason the other night it decided to have a meltdown and I guess overload the electrical system which meant I had no lights at night. Now, after replacing all of the fuses and making sure the battery is all right I turned it on and everything is working now, except for the signal lights. The bulbs are all fine. I already checked. The wire isn’t broken in any places all the connectors are where they are supposed to be, and I even use the multi meter to make sure there was power going to them. But they will not light up. What is wrong with it? I have no clue at this point right now it’s connected to the accessory, but I checked that with the multimeter as well and there is enough power coming from it to power the lights so I don’t know what’s wrong.

Basically, I got the screws adjusted so it runs good at lower p.m., but when I took it on the highway and ran it on high RPMs for more than five minutes, I felt it start to starve for fuel. I know it was starving because I pulled off to the side of the road and idle for a couple of minutes and then took off and it was running perfectly again, until a few minutes later, the same thing happened. I presume this is because not enough fuel is going to the carburetor to feed the engine. Is this bad air fuel mix? Do I need a different size jet? Is my fuel pump bad? Does anybody know I’m really struggling here and I’m close to giving up on this bike
How do I know how much to restrict the airflow? Like would it be bad if I adjusted them and I restricting one too much so it was displayed differently? Does it matter? Because if you restrict the airflow of each one differently wouldn’t it not show the actual pressure?
The bike was warm when I started it, this is a few minutes after. When I pull the throttle without easing on it drops the idle and if I don’t release or back off it kills the bike, starts up again immediately though.
What causes this? Is it lean, rich, or just cold?
Ps: carbs were rebuilt literally yesterday
Mounts for a fairing on my old bike (81 GL 1100). Did this with a stick welder, the pipe for the frame is a bit thin so not burning through was tricky, I had to make a puddle on the plate and drag it onto the frame without pushing through it and punching a hole. It looks bad but ended up pretty sturdy. The little brace on the underside was a pretty tricky angle, but it turned out better than expected.
Also the bike is running super rich if anyone can tell me how to make the air/fuel mix more lean
