How long does manual verification usually take?

Hi! I submitted my verification document (a credit card statement) as photo of a printed copy since I was told that format makes it easier to confirm legitimacy(?). It's still stuck in manual verification, and I'm wondering if that's because I redacted the balance amounts. I did leave my address and everything else that was required visible and unredacted. Is this delay normal, or is there someone I can reach out to about it?

Meridian Argo Email?

https://preview.redd.it/k6w0qfzj832h1.png?width=802&format=png&auto=webp&s=1b4d52cc6a495f6ccc7bcc1e2fabded89fd204fc

Morning everyone! Yesterday I received an email claiming to be from the Meridian Argo team, but my email client flagged it as potentially unsafe. The sender address wasn't one I'd seen before, so I looked it up and found information suggesting it was legitimate, so I went ahead and completed the verification assessment. I'm now waiting on next steps. Just wanted to double check: is this legit?

The sender address was: argo@invisible.email

Looking for remote jobs that actually hire Puerto Rico residents, any leads appreciated

So I've been on the job hunt for a while now and it's been... exhausting, to put it nicely. I'm based in Puerto Rico, US citizen (yes, we are part of the US, yes, I know I still have to explain this in 2026 😅), and finding remote positions that don't quietly exclude PR has been a whole ordeal.

I get it. The tax situation is different here, Act 60, the 1099 vs W-2 thing, employers sometimes just don't want to deal with it. I'm aware of all of that and honestly fine navigating it, I just need to find companies that are actually open to it in the first place.

I've tried a lot of the usual routes and kept hitting walls. Either the application gets to the location field and stops dead, or I get a generic "we don't hire in your region" after weeks of silence.

Not picky about industry at this point either. Open to customer service, admin, writing/editing, research, data entry, whatever. I just want something legitimate and stable that won't make me feel like I'm invisible on the map.

If anyone has found companies that specifically work with PR residents, or platforms worth actually using, I would genuinely appreciate it. And please, if it sounds like a pyramid scheme or starts with "be your own boss" I'm already gone lol.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds, this sub has been more helpful than most.

No Es Que No Queremos Trabajar

Holaa.

¿Ahora? Ahora lo que recibo es: "We appreciate your interest, and your experience is impressive, but we have decided to move forward with other candidates."
