For the people who dont multiplayer(invade/co-op). How do you have fun in 2026⁉️

I've been playing since 2023 with about 2750 hours in the game. I beat the game like 10 times (ik its low) and platinumed it. So now all ive been doing is multiplayer mainly co-op. Ive made like 20+ builds deleting and remaking different weapon setups that are fun but outside of co-op.

I dont enjoy the game as much, which should be a given after playing for 3 years straight. So im just curious how people who dont use online features even play for so long without getting bored. Ik they just keep making new builds but I feel like it gets to a point to where every boss is easy to you and the builds just feel like re-skins.

The only reason I make so many builds is because I like going into multiplayer with them and showing my skill with people (not really a cocky sort of way just challenging myself by trying to keep the host alive 😭).

I've seen so many people say how they dont even engage with multiplayer and im just bewildered how people can do that with so many hours in the game and keep finding things to do. But yall lmk tho 😭

Im muling all aow, talismen, crafting mats, consumables, with only a few weapons and armor. Ik its alot so ask anything of what you want from the character cause im deleting to clear way for my next character. Additionally after I drop the items I want muled, it'll be like 5 minutes to make the new character and summon you. If you can help id greatly appreciate it and im also good at pvp aswell incase you want to add me for comp.

Anybody else think spears are useless in pvp?

Spears are one of the most useless weapons in terms of utility. Primarily looking at it, if its a spear it should have a noticeable range difference from any other weapons in the "regular sized weapon" criteria right? But unless its the pike or naginata, the opponent doesnt see any large increase in a disadvantage.

Their r1's are slow asf, they're pierce damage makes it useless against shields, the charged r2 is EXTREMELY slow, and most of the time you can strafe to the right for a backstab with most of its attacks. But the great spear on the other hand, Hyperarmor, more range, bigger hit box so its harder to strafe and the charged r2 is actually one of the best parts of the moveset.

With how mediocre the spear class is, I couldn't imagine picking them over the heavy thrusting sword, REGULAR thrusting sword, great spear, or even great katana which all of these weapons have more range in most circumstances. Unless youre going off meta ofcourse, i tried pvp with 2h naginata and it was the worst time of my life. And even when I go against people who use spears I demolish them cause SPEARS suck. The only real way to make them viable is by using aow which is sad.

But if im missing a gimmick or mechanic, which is heavily affecting my argument please lmk cause ive literally had this thought day 1 of me pvping 😭

Glass cannon builds in multiplayer = OP ⁉️⁉️

I have 2 builds like this, one is pure int at rl60 and the other is pure faith at rl 60. Since I co-op alot I like navigating how to not die in every encounter since I have 10 vigor on both characters. I primarily use uplifting aromatic and the bubble which are pretty helpful. When I get invaded tho, unless they're distracted from me i usually get destroyed instantly.

But I feel like after playing for so long, it kinda gives me the no hit experience while also having a viable build, cause i have ALL the levels in 1 stat and since i have someone to distract enemies, its pretty easy clearing everything.

I never see people experiment with these kinds of builds so I want to get your guy's take on it.

How easy pvp is when you start using Hyper armor 😭

Unless youre going against a tryhard with Elite spacing, al your matchups when using a greatsword are basically free wins. ✋️😌

Please LEVEL VIGOR 🙏

Any part of the game where you aren't meta level (60 vig)

You should prioritize your health, while co-oping; ive consistently seen too many hosts with 800hp at lvl60, 400 at lvl30, and somehow only 500 at lvl 80 😭

Honestly this just my selfish gripe (PLAY HOW YOU WANT ITS YOUR GAME AT THE END OF THE DAY) because I hate how people aren't good enough to survive with that amount of health and get 2 shot by everything. Further leading me because with how slow co-op matchmaking is, I have to wait for another 5-10 minutes for another match

But honestly, from learning how to "minmaxx" my stats, id definitely say at the lower levels, almost none of your damage comes from scaling and its best to just get the minimum dex requirement and putting the rest into vigor/endurance. By doing this at lvl 30, I can get almost 40 vigor and at 60, about 55. As ive gotten better at the game I started not caring about damage that much anyway so making my defense high enough to survive ambushes from invaders and elden ring bs. Id really say its a much more fun experience rather than getting 2 shot because im in an area higher than my level bracket

TLDR; LEVEL VIGOR IT MAKES THE GAME EASIER

PS: I also have a mage build with 10 vigor at lvl 60, but it does so much damage(72 INT), im able to make a playstyle out if it since im primarily co-op. So at the end of the day. Its additionally a skill issue and how you navigate the amount of health that you have.

What do you guys think the elemental damage types feel like when you're hit 🤔

I've had this question for awhile and it reemerged when I was play pvpand realized Carian Slicer ad catch flame do SOO MUCH DAMAGE 😭 i can only imagine catch flame feeling like a mini explosion instead of fire just appearing from the hand. And carian Slices and all other magic...uhh maybe just like a numbing pain, or like some kinda of energy overload. Lightning and fire are probably straight forward. The more damage the more intense. With holy im REALLY stuck on it, since it could represent justice and persistence, it could feel like pressure but idk. Yall lmk what yall think
