Comparison of age in medical field.

Average age of medical graduates in USA and Europe are 28 to 26 years. I dont understand why people in India think alot about their age in medical profession. If you are passionate about medical, it doesnt matter whether you start at 17 or 25. Better to live the life by your choices then to regret it bcz of other ppl. This is just to cheer up those students who might be feeling hopeless and doubtful regarding their age for neet/medical college.

Is Age a matter of concern in medical college ?

Im 23M, i gave neet 2 times in past and couldnt clear it coz was never serious or passionate about it then i left it and did my bsc now im in 1st year of my masters and there is no scope ahead unless I do Phd from a great institute. Phd gonna take 5 to 6 years and MBBS gonna take the same, but Phd still doesnt provide job security, so im again leaning to prepare for neet, I gave this year's neet without any preparation just to see where do i stand and scored 355 marks, 285 in Bio, 50 in Chem and 20 in Physics, will give reneet also, working on chemistry and physics...but im concerned with my age coz Phd is a doctorate dgree so starting your phd at mid 20s are pretty normal but MBBS is a ug degree and mostly ppl are between 17 to 20...stuck in a dilemma. Wanted to know how common is students entering MBBS in their mid 20s ?...what to do

PCB ENDS YOUR CAREER IF YOU FAIL TO CLEAR NEET.

23M, myquals MSc 1st year and honestly feeling dead and depressed af because my career is going nowhere. After 12th I took 2 drops for NEET but couldn’t clear it because I was never truly passionate about it, I never studied properly. Then I enrolled in BSc, completed it and now I’m in the 1st year of my MSc. But tbh I can’t see my future at all. If I opt for CSIR NET, the condition of PhD and research in this country is terrible, no job security, low pay, and supervisors treats JRFs like their servants. If I go for government job exams like SSC CGL, banking or PSC exams, the competition is insane coz of huge number of repeaters, ppl give these exams for many times, vacancies are irregular and if I choose to give NEET again, the age factor already makes me feel insecure. Even if I clear it, I’ll be 24 when my MBBS starts. Life is already falling apart even before starting.
