Cat's respiratory issue being consistently misdiagnosed

Cat's respiratory issue being consistently misdiagnosed

My cat began coughing, and we took her to the vet in May. After doing the xray and some blood tests, the doctor concluded she has chronic bronchitis and needs to be on life long nebulization. Budesonide nebulization, for whenever her coughing becomes severe. And was prescribed 28 days of Doxycycline. They said that the blood tests weren't indicating clearly whether she has a viral.

I changed her litter to as dust free as possible (pine pellets) and ensured my environment to become as dust free as possible.

Yet her condition didn't improve and it kept worsening in fact.

So I took her to another vet in August.

After examining, the vet said that she's been misdiagnosed. It's just bacterial bronchitis and not allergic bronchitis. They didn't find any fluid build up as well. And checked the medication history and said that even though she was given antibiotics it wasn't the right one. She should have been given Amoxicillin.

She did a 5 day course of Amoxicillin. And her coughing reduced significantly. From coughing 4-5 times a day with every cough fit lasting from a minute to 5-6 minutes, it reduced to coughing once in 3-4 days, to a duration of only a few minutes or sometimes even less.

However, her coughing didn't heal completely. This doctor says it's normal for them to cough once in 5 days or even once a day.

But I don't find this normal. Now she sometimes coughs once in 3 days, or sometimes 3-4 times a day.

Where I stay, vets don't really have a good review, and these two vets were the best of all.

I am distressed looking at my cat's condition, I don't know what's the next step, or what's the correct medication or diagnosis.

Any help is appreciated, please help me out, thank you 🙏🏽

Genuine review of Nutrabay Pure Pea Protein Isolate

I have been having this protein powder for 5 days now, and my overall review is that it's really good. No bloating, no heaviness; no disturbing change in my diet or routine because of it. In fact there is a good feeling of being satiated after I have it. I have a half scoop per day instead of a full scoop.

I don't find the taste to be a problem, as many people complain. In my opinion, it's tasteless with just a thick texture.

I have it with my oats breakfast.

50gm yoga bar high protein oats - 13g protein

High protein peanut butter milk (blend peanut butter with water)- 9g protein

1/2 scoop protein powder - 12.5 g protein

Total- 34.5g protein (if you have a full scoop - an easy 47g protein breakfast for you)

The protein powder definitely overpowers the taste of flavoured oats, and basically makes the oats bland. But I top it with fruits, and nuts. And it's again good to go.

This is the easiest way I finish my first protein meal of the day.

Is it safe to consume 125g Soybean daily?

125g soybean will amount to 45g protein approx. I need that fulfil my 45g protein needed out of 117g protein. I plan to turn it into soyamilk and eat the okara as well.

My question is, it safe for daily consumption? Does anyone eat that much soy here everyday?

Please note: I am NOT talking about Soya chunks. I am talking about SOYBEANS. Both are different. Thanks

How to switch cat back to fish and chicken after wet and dry food?

My cat used to eat all types of fishes, and all pieces of chicken when we used to live in a different place and she had her brother as a companion as well. After her brother died and we moved places, she suddenly stopped eating fish and chicken and only responded to dry food and wet food.

Now, whenever I bring fish or chicken home, she cries for it, but when I give it to her, she only licks her mouth but doesn't eat it.

I want her to eat fish and chicken so that I can cook her chicken and fish with water like a soup or broth for hydration. As she's not drinking much water, which is leading to constipation. The water fountain is also not working for her. She doesn't respond well to store bought topper broth as well.

Wet food is fine, but I am not sure about depending only on it as a source of hydration, because she doesn't eat that too, when I mix it with water. And that hydration is not enough.

She likes eating dry food, but I really want to stop the dry food eventually.

Any tips and advice would be appreciated, thank you 🙏🏽

Please rescue this kitten

Found this little kitten opposite the Asiatic Library, near Cafe Nur. I am not a local so I couldn't assist the kitten. I looked for all the contact numbers of animal NGOs near the area, but none responded.

She was crying, scared, and isolated. Probably too thirsty and hungry even. She wouldn't let me come closer to her, so couldn't even feed her water. Couldn't see the mother cat around.

Someone please rescue this kitten. She is barely 2 weeks old.
