I personally think it's 7-8. Kamchatka brown bears are absolute menaces but eventually with some amount of teamwork 7-8 hyenas would take it with some sacrifices and great injuries
This post isn't about power, it's about grit, willingness to suffer, about who pulled generational performance and who could've fight harder.
The first two hashiras we really saw in action set a really high bar which for me remained unachievable for others. Rengoku vs Akaza and Uzui against upper 6 were fights in wich our goats showed what an absolute dogs they are scratching victories (Rengoku actually won in terms of his goal) from the lowest points.
In that regard, Tokito, Tanroji and Shinobu seemed underwhelming because all of them were ready to give up in their fights, Shinobu actually gave up twice in 5 minutes which is why I think she receives a lot if slanander actually. Tomioka actually showed a lot of heart against Akaza, but it wasn't like he was dying and Tanjiro was a great assistant so I wouldn't put Giyu's performance in the goat tier
My question is, without giving me much spoilers (I only watched the recent movie), will any hashira show as much grit as Rengoku or Uzui or were their fights peak showcases of self-sacrifice and fighting with all they possibly got?
Basically a tough skin giant against two glass cannons. If Wano Zoro was able to cut Kaido and live him a scar, old wings would definitely be able to do the same. They are also faster than Zoro and have more skill with acoc, but Kaido didn't really take his fights seriously until he encountered g4/g5 Luffy with acoc arguably, and if he lands a strong hit, I don't think that either of Ray/Gaban would be able to continue the fight. I still think it's a high diff for the aged ones
Didn't see this one here. I genuinely believe that this is an extremely bad match up for Garp. The only time Kizaru was defeated was because of Luffy's G5 crazy hax which helped tha Strawhat to accelerate his punch by absorbing Kizaru's light attack. Garp doesn't have any fruit/hax to mess with Kizaru's abilities. Sure, the Old man has extremely strong punches but I highly doubt Borsalino will allow Garp to punch him. I think Kizaru should be notably faster, has more agility and can just win in the battle of attrition flying around spamming lasers and kicking grandpa until Garp is done. Garp has advanced observation haki though, but it doesn't really make a difference here since it won't help him to catch Kizaru regardless
Although tobi roppo were stated to be not far behind the stars level, I thing that King has a lot of things in his pocket which are kinda unsolvable for the tobi roppo:
Ability to fly. Only 3 out of 6 members have shown ranged attacks and none of them seemed impressive or destructive
Speed and durability stats. None of the members have the ap nor the speed to damage flames on and see flames off King respectively
King's own ap. With flames stated to be as hot as magma and massive range for attacks which can split to countless flame dragons, there are not many options for tobi roppo to survive or dodge his "imperial flaming wings" for example.
Overall I think it would be hard for him at first when all 6 of them would jump him, but eventually King would realise he has to keep the distance and use his strongest attacks to which tobi roppo have no answers and win mid-high diff
