Hollywood Drift Pass Member Check-in

I have a spot reserved for tomorrow at 5pm

The email says I can go to the check-in area an hour prior to my reservation time but I was wondering if I could check-in earlier than that. I usually arrive in the morning so I was wondering if they could check me in when I arrive so I don't have to exit and re-enter later

How many of you either switched to using credit/debit cards instead of TAP cards when paying fare or sticked to using TAP cards or cash?

It’s been a few months now and while using our debit/credit cards is accepted I’ve stuck to using my TAP card

For me it’s because the validators that we can use the debit/credit cards on largely has a 50/50 chance of actually working. At least with the TAP card if I’m boarding at the front entrance of a bus I can use the fare box validator if the tap validator next to it isn’t working properly

Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift no longer included if you get Express or any admission with Express included for Horror Nights

Ride hasn’t officially opened yet but this has just appeared on the Horror Nights website

Only the RIP tour as of now only includes the ride during the event

Any admission that includes express for the event and even buying the express for the event itself no longer gives you access to Hollywood Drift

Just rode Hollywood Drift

That was one of the most intense coasters I’ve been on

The spinning rocked me up and despite having a glasses strap I was holding my glasses with one hand 😅 I might have to go get my glasses readjusted

The lockers did in fact fit my camera bag and satchel but the attendant gave me two locker tickets just in case I need a second one. Getting my bags at the exit was a breeze

And it’s so fast. It’s really fast at the launch that takes you to the escalators to the lower lot

Clip of the Metro shuttle arriving at the new central hub

First time at Universal today since the hubs opened

Followed the crowd after getting off to the metal detectors

Was through within 5 minutes without having to open my bag after it went through

The only trade off is that it puts me at a further distance from the park gate now but at least if I want to go to Citywalk for food and go back into the park later I don’t have to do another security screening to get back into the park later

The moment the doors from the first public D Line train to Wilshire/La Cienega from Union Station opened

This was the first time I’ve been to the grand opening of new Metro stations. Hoping there will be events like this when the next two phases open!

Sign is out, go and upgrade if you’re in the park today

I did the $40 Platinum Pass ticket and added the early access for $20

The in park upgrade will save you $10 on both admission and early access since this one is available to anyone in the park
