Remake of Super Mario Bros. 2. I played through this, and think it makes a lot of interesting improvements over the original.

The origin of the Genesis 6-button controller. You can tell they had confidence in people really wanting to buy a Street Fighter II port for their system, and they were correct, with it selling millions of units.

A billiards game. I haven’t really gotten into this one, but I imagine the draw would be the level of precision involved.

I love Xevious…it’s so good…

Mario Kart on GBA. Nothing all too special.

Really big fan of this one. Probably one of the console’s best.

Haven’t finished this one yet, but I thought it was a really good way of doing Zelda on this console.

And now we’re on GBA! I love this game. Had a great time beating it.

Another one of the console’s best. Could easily have been an SNES experience with how it’s designed.

As cool as this was for Game Boy back in 1991, I think Samus Returns was a vast improvement on this in being a real Metroid game.

Probably the best Game Boy game. This is a high quality experience that could have just as easily been a console release.

I love these games. Simple but very addictive. Totally worth playing for a while.

I’m mostly just glad they got a licensed game on here. That didn’t seem possible before this. Though I do think Perfect Dark might be the better game just because I played it first.

Also, this cover art makes it look like he has a really big jaw. And I can’t unsee that.

This was always a weird port to me. Famously 3D game…goes 2D. It feels like they mostly just did it because they could, rather than it being an especially good idea.

More Golden Axe!

A decent enough puzzle game, but not one that’s going to beat Puyo Puyo.

Again, not a Genesis game I know too much about. Seems like any regular beat ‘em up of the era to me but with a different theming.

Way better than the first one.

The original…hope you like stick rotation and random chance events.
