Hey everyone,

I have a 2026 Hyundai i20 Sportz(O), and I've been noticing ants ever since the car was delivered. At first, I thought they were just random ants, but it's been happening consistently.

I frequently see them:

- Inside the door panels

- Around the front center armrest/console area (underneath)

- Occasionally on the exterior of the car as well

I don't usually leave food or drinks inside the car, so I'm confused about what's attracting them.

Has anyone else with an i20 experienced this?

- Is there any common place where ants nest in the i20?

- Could they be entering through the door seals or wiring?

- What's the best way to get rid of them without damaging the interior or electronics?

- Should I have the Hyundai service center inspect it?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's had the same issue. Thanks!

New i20 owner here. Got a stone chip on the bumper, scratches from a bicycle falling onto the car, and a small dent. Hyundai is suggesting panel repaint and the total estimate is around ₹9k-10k. Car is insured with zero dep/RTI. Would you claim insurance for this amount or pay cash and save the claim for bigger damage later? Looking for real owner experiences.
