Idaho Springs, CO, me, watercolor, 2026
I finally started painting again regularly after a 5-6 year hiatus. Slowly getting rid of my painter’s block. Been looking through my collection of travel photos to get inspired. I also have been checking out the many artists online to learn new techniques. One channel I’ve been watching is Lois & Morgaine Davidson Art. They had some lessons on painting cityscapes which I had been so hesitant to try. There are also others I’ve watched who do great cityscapes as well.
I’m not sure if this is finished but I don’t want to wreck it with more detail. Would love any input or critique.
Saw a few different videos on how to prepare it. It was something my late mom would cook on occasion. Used store bought rice powder although next time will try making some of my own.
