Hello i need suggestions regarding the "Haq meher" for my best friend as she's not on Reddit. 

For the context, she's an accountant (acca) and earns a decent amount, belongs to an upper middle socio economic background her father earns pretty well now, however her family has struggled financially when she was younger, she has studied majorly on scholarships.

She has always been interested in money, businesses, selling etc probably because of this financial struggle which ultimately led to her choosing commerce in school and becoming an accountant. 

She has had multiple proposals /rishtas coming in since 3-4 years as she's about to turn 26.

For marriage she is majorly concerned about the financial condition of the guy (other than similar mindset and hygiene). She's been thinking about asking the amount which would be spent on the wedding functions (nikah, barat, mehndi, walima etc) to be paid as haq meher to her and have a single  combined event instead. She wants to invest that amount for her  future as she wants to avoid struggling financially like she did earlier and wants to provide the best for her children. 

Now I need suggestions to estimate the amount which an upper middle class family spends on a  wedding on average. The amount which I personally have estimated is atleast 50 lacs  which my father spent on my brother's wedding in 2023, adjusting for the inflation since 2023 this probably would have increased to 65-70 lacs. 

She is the eldest child in her family and there has not been any marriage lately in her extended family either so she's been having  bit of a hard time estimating the wedding costs. Your suggestions are welcomed
