I'm watching utena for the first time,I was not prepared for it to be this hilarious, like I thought it would be pure angst and depression I'm happy I'm wrong

So I watched about 7 episodes of Utena binged it yesterday, this is my first anime after not watching anime in 4 years, I'm enjoying this a little too much, I haven't laughed this hard watching a show since forever, like the whole student council stuff and how "serious" it is 😭 any time a male character talks and the tacky speech they make, the random odd animals that appear out of nowhere, convenient objects appearing, the over the top music ,also just nanami in general, I like the serious stuff too I liked juri episode and other stuff but I'm still confused about what they mean revolutionize the world and the Duels or the rose bride stuff (don't spoil it) but I need to know will i get answers for these stuffs later in the show

What's the greatest redemption arc you've seen for a female character in fantasy/sci fi?

I'm talking about well earned fleshed out arc not just randomly forgiven at the end or just having a romantic relationship with a good person changing her?

I feel like I don't see enough of this archetype for female characters.

Also if it's a spoiler you can just name the series without naming the character

Edit: damn so it's really that unpopular of a trope huh 😔 50 comments in and The only one that I got close to what I described is character from a web novel (so basically unedited books) called practical guide of evil I'm definitely checking it ,

but all other suggestions are morally good characters who were naive/ a bit mean at first then changed gradually
