Is this a stupid decision?

It’s been my dream since I was young to pursue medicine, but I honestly feel like 3rd/4th year university is too soon for me.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot, and my ‘fallback’ option if I never got into medical school would be to go to teachers college and become a high school biology (and probably minor in math) teacher. But, i’m entering my first year of university in the fall and i’m realizing my fallback option is honestly really intriguing to me, and I feel like exploring that field for a few years before applying to med school would honestly be beneficial to me. If I work for two years, I earn two years teaching salary which would help me drastically when paying for med school, but I also have a set job if my OMSAS application is unsuccessful. I would spend my undergraduate time focused on my GPA and ECs for my med application, then take a break whilst going through teachers college.

Basically my question is; is it a good idea to get my BSc (i’m at mac life sci fyi), then go to teachers college, work as a high school teacher for ~2 years, then apply to med school? How to they feel about mature applicants? when would be the best time to write my MCAT given I don’t really want to be studying for the test whilst working full time as a teacher? should I write summer going into 4th year?

sorry for the dump of info, I really don’t know where else to ask this..

please give any advice!!

Why didn’t I get my res time slot today? (guaranteed res)

I have my outlook set up (I think..) but my inbox is empty. I do have guaranteed res, so i’m just confused. Did any of you have radio silence?

When should I expect my score sheet?

I took my G2 test in Lindsay at 8:44 am today, and it still says my score sheet isn’t ready. All my friends have said they got their sheets promptly after completion. Is this a normal wait ttime?

Stadium view rooms?

Hi everyone! I’m almost positive i’m committing to mls, and I’m wondering (for those of you who know) what general area of rooms I should select if I want a stadium view?

From my understanding it seems like Hedden and pg give you a stadium view? Correct me if i’m wrong.

Just wondering what side of those buildings to select during the process. I understand lots of people want that view, so i understand if you’re tryna gatekeep 😂

Hope to see some of you in the fall
