Sophos XG115W Firewall - Need some help reimaging

I started a really great helpdesk job about a year ago and the project success manager was asking me where I want to go with my career and what kinds of projects I want to shadow.

At the time, I was struggling with a ticket about a firewall, so I told him that I wanted to learn more about firewalls. The next day, he left an old Sophos XG115W firewall on my desk and told me that I could have it to play around with.

I brought it home and started the process of reimaging it. I bought a VGA to HDMI cord so I could monitor the process.

I plugged it into power only, plugged in the VGA to HDMI to my monitor, and used RUFUS to put the image on a USB that I had.

I followed this KB - Reimage the firewall using a USB flash drive - Sophos Firewall

I used this image -

I plugged the USB in and turned on the firewall. It turns on, but nothing comes up on the screen, the top light stays green, the bottom light occasionally flashes a little orange. I read that it's supposed to turn red when it's going through the reimaging process.

So far, I've tried reformatting the USB - it's formatted to Fat32, I've tried using belenaetcher rather than RUFUS like the tutorial says, I've tried an older version of the image -

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any tips would be appreciated.

I'm thinking that the VGA to HDMI isn't going to work, is there another way that I can view what's happening on the device? I read a little bit about serial/COM ports, but I would need assistance picking out the right one.

Building a PC is not impressive

I just saw a post on the front page about the lead actress of Obsession about how she "Didn't land an acting role for 1.5 years and had to make money by streaming games on a PC SHE BUILT HERSELF".

I have built many PCs over the past 30 years. They have like 10 parts. It's like building a lego set that has 10 pieces. It's not impressive. I break down my current PC once every other month to clean it and it takes me about 30 minutes tops.

I see people wondering around this earth saying "if I only I could build my own PC". Bro, can you make a sandwich? You can build a PC.

Son created an account on PSN, I want to monitor his playtime when he takes his PS5 over to families house

My Son got a PS5 from my wife's sister last year.

My wife and I allow him 2 hours of game time per day as he is 12. I don't really care all that much about him playing rated M games, I know I did when I was his age and it's nice to have someone to talk about Elden Ring with.

The issue - he has been taking his PS5 over to my wife's mother's/sister's house and they don't limit him at all.

He set up the account over at wife's sister's house and, of course, no one monitored him while doing so, so he set his age to who knows what.

I want to be able to monitor his playtime, but since Sony sees him as an adult, I can't add him to the family plan as a child and monitor things.

He has a ton of games, and lord knows I ain't rebuying them. So I don't want him to lose those. But I need to be able to monitor his play time when he is away.

I've already reached out to Sony and they were useless and said it wasn't possible (how can editing an item entry that you control not be possible?) so I'm just hoping that someone has another idea.

Maybe another app that can be used? hardware modding? I'm open to anything.
