Ignite Lesson, All Records, Perfect Run

Ignite Lesson, All Records, Perfect Run

A short guide for getting all the records in the Magic Lession for Ignite.
This is also a perfect run, which was NOT easy by any means, but it should make it easier for people struggling to get through this with at least an S.

The main trick to this trial is using the Come Back command at the right time, and sometimes timing the Bonus flowers correctly. In one example i got the flower as late as possible to get an extra two points.

The rest is just figuring out patterns, and trying your best to get the gold flowers and as many points as possible.

The last minute is super hectic and frankly sometimes the flashing hurts my eyes, its rough.

Ok real talk though this was HARD, it took me a whole day of attempts, getting SSS rank at 8500 points is very doable if you can do the initial rapid fire and the last 30 seconds, but getting perfect is very tough in that last minute.

Cheesy, Easy, Cheapest way to get -1% Completion

This is a what I call a poor form method. I hate it.
Completely spits in the face of the game's combat and fun mechanics to basically cheat. But a guide is a guide........so here it is.

Using modifiers to complete Start a fresh file game (you need to beat the game once) with every area completed, including the Intro but not including Loner's Landing. And set Mina's Level to 98.

You can use the modifiers to choose your starting weapon and get the Train Ticket at the start.

You will also want the unlock locks without Kears Modifier.

Also equip Moddifiers which will make you invincible, take no damage, walk on pits, no spike damage, infinite HP, One hit killing etc.

Run through Loner's Landing and then reach Ossex to the final dungeon.

Then run through the final dungeon and defeat the final boss (should take 20 minutes total for this run).

After beating the file select NG+ for that file and then remove all Modifiers that prevent Feats. Yes you can just turn them off before you start the NG+ run.

Thus you can use the new file to do a -1% Run with VERY little difficulty as enemies cannot possibly scale to match you.

You will also not need to unlock the initial Lock in in Loner's Landing or scrounge up the Bones for the Ticket.

Thanks to the above you can get a total of 5 Items/Collectibles/Upgrades/Trinkets instead of the 4 normally allowed.

The rest is the same as a normal -1% Run.

-1% Completion Sinless Playthrough Guide

Didn't see much or any guides for a -1% Runs soooooooooo

Here is a quick guide which should help people more easily grasp how they can complete a -1% Run, alongside how to do a Sinless run (since -1% already means skipping most of the side content) at the same time.

The reason to do a -1% Sinless Run is because it allows us to skip the Final boss (and Final Dunegeon), so we don't have to fight it with basically none of our gear, and have a hard time as a result. It also just saves you the hassle.

The below link will show the requirements for a Sinless Run as explained by yachtclub themselves.

https://www.yachtclubgames.com/blog/mina-the-hollower-ending/

As for a -1% Run.

To complete the run we need to sell off our items to Pawnty to bring Completion down to -1%. We can do this at the end of the run, no need to do it at the start.

Pawnty can only hold 10 items, there are 2 Mandatory Collection items we find, the Kear in Loner's Landing and Train Ticket for reaching Coltrane Peak.

With the above in mind, the player can only find and collect about 4 items in total. This includes Upgrades, Weapons, Trinkets and so on.
4 is the absolute limit.

In my run personally I had 1 extra weapon (aside from my default) and 1 Trinket and even after getting 2 Upgrades (both maps because i was doing testing) I didn't realize i had 2 more spaces at the time.

Sidearms do not count for Completion.

Hope this helps people out with this Feat.

Mina the Hollower: ALL Sidearm Feats Guide

Part 3 of my Feats Guides.

This is for all of the Sidearms Feats, these take up the lions share of annoying feats, most of these are pretty easy if you know the right spots, but some require some highly specific situations.

For whatever reason there wasn't any big guide for all of them or even many guides for some of them individually so here's all of them in one go.

These can all be done within NG+ or NG.

Also you can find a Coin with ALL side arms in the candle right before the hidden boss room in Godrid's Tomb under Radiant Manor.

Mina the Hollower: ALL Weapon Feats Guide

Part 2 of my Feats Guides.

This is for the 5 related to different weapons.
Some of these are easy as heck, and can be done easily on NG+ or NG.

But the last 2 are tricky and a bit annoying.

Perfect Guard is a pain because you need to parry 15 times without being hit or using a normal bash, which against normal enemies is tricky so we used arrows in Queenbury Crypt.

Buster Bounce is tricky because it requires the right environment where you can bounce the shot off 2 walls before it hits the enemy and kills them.
I used the Southern Outskirts Rebel Barracks first room. You need to do it before you run out of ammo and need to use melee mode.

I did this on NG+ but this particular feat is much harder on NG+ since enemies have more HP, it would be much easier on NG. It's still doable if you level your attack and use trinkets for buffs

Mina the Hollower: All Trinket Feats Guide

Didn't see many guides around for some of these so I just did them for kicks while I'm in between guides.
This covers all the trinket related feats, these are done on NG+ but the conditions for these aren't so strict they cant be done on a NG run.

Some of these require bosses so I did them with Thorne near the start of the game for convenience.

Mina the Hollower: Lumenarks No Damage Guide

It's a neat fight where you need to defeat the enemies in rows to push them back and prevent them from reaching the button on the left.

The trinket here is to deal with them quickly and if possible hit multiple at once when they are near each other.

Requires a bit of practice but very doable. The part of the fight which will quickly end it is when a Gold Lumenark appears letting you possibly finish off entire rows in one shot.

For Trinkets: Uranium Bracelet, Volatile Beastium, Shock Flint, Brisk Brew, Chain Capacitor (Optional) and Bubble Ring.

Level for ATK and Sidearm can be level 5 to 8.

For weapon, Battery Buster and Nightstar work well. For sidearms I recommend Volt Hatchets because it lets us hit multiple enemies vertically.

Mina the Hollower: Hidden Boss No Cheese No Damage (SPOILERS)

This is a less a guide and more a proof of concept, this boss has been called a super boss and such by some because the throws a lot at you but just brute forcing it turns it into a cake walk of a fight. Not even taking 30 seconds.

If you notice I didn't move since the start of the fight thats how simple you can make it.

This method uses Battery Buster (no upgrades needed) and Volt Hatchets.

For stats ATK and Sidearms should be Level 6 to 8.
(You can use the 2 free trinket slots to book the level)

For Trinkets:
Uranium Bracelet
Bubble Ring
Draining Beastium
Shock Flint
Remaining 2 are free.

Mina the Hollower: Snowball Request Route

Here is a quick guide for quick guide for how to get the Snowball from Coltrane peak all the way to the old man in the Western Wilds, the route is a bit of a pain to intuit because you need to evade some traps, use the ledges and basically have the route opened (remove any potential enemies etc).

Not hard but a mistake can be frustrating.

Mina the Hollower: Coltrain Peak Boss No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating the Coltrain Peak Boss

This is a fun boss, she throws a bunch of werid things at you while flying around as a ghost. Finding the tiny openings between her moves to shoot her with the gun or melee mode or using Hatchets is key.

For stats since this will be the 4th or 5th region you will want to be Level 6 to 8 for both Sidearms and Attack.

For Trinkets: Uranium Bracelet, Draining Beastium, Shock Flint, Iron Lung, Chain Capacitor/Fly Bait and Bubble Ring are all important.

Her final phase will see her transform into a giant engine furnace so we need to throw hathets at her while avoiding her "mouth".

Mina the Hollower: Frozen Horror No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating the Frozen Horror at Coltrain Peak.

This is a relatively easy boss but it can be kind of annoying. It slides around the ice while trying to ram you or sending ice shards or fire balls at you.

Battery Blaster can help really speed up this boss, by letting us abuse both Flame Guard and Bubble ring while dealing damage with melee to keep it away.

Atk stat should be around 6 to 8.
For trinkets: Uranium Bracelet, Bubble Ring, Steadfast Soles, Flame Guard, Fly Bait and Shock Flint.

At the end of the fight the boss will do a death move shooting many fireballs in Mina's direction, which can be avoided by timely burrowing.

Mina the Hollower: Mirren No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating the Mirren at Coltrain Peak.

She is more of a sub boss and has a limited kit of moves, but can be a pain in the butt due to the terrain.

For levels have ATK and Side arms around 5 to 6 (higher is better)

For Trinkets: Uranium Bracelet, Steadfast Soles, Shock Flint, Iron Lung, Flame Guard and Bubble Ring.

Battery Buster is the best weapon for this as she lets you do plenty of damage to her early on and it helps you build up a barrier with bubble ring.
It's also easy to reload.

This was a fun fight, because I was learning to plan around her attacks and evade well with burrowing.
Not the hardest fight but definitely tricky to win without taking a single hit. Especially later in the fight. Gun is still king.

Mina the Hollower: Mined Mind No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating the Mined Mind in Bone Beach.

This is one of the most gimmick harder boss fights in the game, and just like the Queensbury Crypt boss it has 2 phases albi not a full HP bar worth.

You have to attack the eyes to damage it all while avoiding/surviving attacks from around the arena from teeth, to bones to eye beams and so on.

For this fight being able to rapidly attack and maintain constant damage is a must. Battery Buster works very well here since we can quickly recharge ammo from the surroundings.

We also want to use Volt Hatchet Side arms for phase 2 since it's hard to hit at that point.

For stats since this will be the 4th or 5th region you will want to be Level 7 or 8 for both Sidearms and Attack.

For Trinkets: Uranium Bracelet, Draining Beastium, Shock Flint, Iron Lung, Tunneling Codex OR Niter Belt and Bubble Ring are all important.

In particular Bubble ring can save your life in the first phase thanks to how easy it is to trigger here.

Iron lung is practically necessary for the 2nd phase since we will use it to avoid the boss's attacks. Niter Belt can be good if you're confident in your movements but otherwise use the Tunneling Codex so you can move from burrow to burrow quickly.

The other 3 are all for damage up keep.

Mina the Hollower: Major Miner No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating Major Miner without taking damage.

Levels should be 6 or 7 for ATK and Sidearms considering this is the 4th or 5th major regions we can reach.

As per usual Battery Buster is the best weapon and Volt Hatchets are the best side arm.

In terms of difficulty this guy isn't too bad and is easy to avoid and attack.
The problem is the damn cannibal eats any Miners thrown into the arena, and then heals a good chunk of his HP.

We basically have to be lucky that none of them land in his crack fields so we can grab and throw them into the walls so they escape.

For Trinkets, Uranium Bracelet, Draining Beastium, Bubble Ring, Iron Lung and Shock Flint are a good set. If you have space throw in Niter belt too for extra damage.

Ring Dive Game Guide

I highly recommend having the Iron Lung trinket before attempting this challenge as it makes life a LOT easier.

The main tips for this challenge are to dive in 1 ring and come out another, focus on building and maintaining a combo for as long as possible. Diving in the center of rings or in gold rings will also give you more time.

This challenge really is about practice makes perfect so don't get too frustrated if you don't get it the first few times.

In a sense this is a neat way to train players in burrowing for evasion and control while also helping them avoid hits.

Mina the Hollower: Final Blaise Race Guide

Here is a quick guide for the ideal route for the Final Race with Blaise in the Sandfalls. It's a pretty tricky because of some stairs you may forget to jump over and on top of that there's one particular room where you can easily lose the lead. Don't need much prep, but bringing Iron Lung, Keri the Wisp, Pit Preserver, Steady Soles and Spike Spurs will make this much easier.

10 Tile Jump Earliest Method Guide

Here is a quick guide for doing a 10 tile jump in front of Lena to get the Feat.
This will require a Guardian Casket (with 1 Upgrade), Drill Driver and Keri the Wisp.

You can get most if not all items before even reaching a generator the only real hiccup is the cost of the ones in shops. But thats what the grinding spots are for.

Mina the Hollower: Nox's Bayou Boss No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating the boss in Nox Bayou.
Apologies the audio is ass for this recording.

Again only 1 phase to this boss, it has a large body so we can make generous use Side arms and deal damage quickly to skip much of it's nonsense. Keep in mind this will be your 2nd or 3rd boss so it shouldn't be too hard compared to the others.

When it dives into the water you can use the melee attacks on its head but the best weapons are those that push you back or push the boss back so you stay clear of damage.

For Trinket Load Out we want to use Uranium Bracelet, Draining Beastium (if you have Joules of 40 to 60), Iron Lung and Steadfast soles. If you have space throw in Bubble Ring.

You will need a ATK level of 3 to 5 and Side arm level around the same.

I used Battery Buster for this fight and Volt Hatchets for Side arms.

Mina the Hollower: Mock Moon No Damage Guide

Here is a guide for beating Mock Moon without damage.

This boss has a big body likes tackling you and has a lot of HP. But despite that it's also much more fragile and takes more damage compared to other bosses. It can be beaten quickly with smart bombardment of damage.

Careful during the last phase when it turns the field dark.

For this fight I suggest having an ATK level of 3 to 6 same or with Sidearms depending on which you prefer to attack with. Use the Battery Buster and Volt Hatchets.

For Trinkets Uranium Bracelet, Bubble Ring, Shock Flint, anything else is optional.
