2 Weeks at DMSIE (IIT ISM Dhanbad) Honest Take

It’s been 2 weeks since I joined M.Tech in Industrial Engineering & Management at DMSIE.

Big plus: we share some courses with MBA students. You get exposure to business thinking + technical side together, which actually adds real value.

The Department of Management Studies & Industrial Engineering has a good mix of subjects operations, analytics, optimization, and management. It feels like a blend of core engineering + business applications, which is useful for roles in consulting, supply chain, and analytics.

Spoke to a few MBA students about placements and ROI most said ROI is good, which is a positive sign.

DMSIE is a mix of GATE + CAT, so you get both technical and management perspectives.

From my side it's too early to judge everything, but first impression is positive with good potential.
