Forget seed oils, kids toothpaste is testing at 493 ppb of lead??

I saw a recent video about heavy metals in kids products and went to fact check it. hello's fresh watermelon kids toothpaste got lab tested and came back at 493 ppb of Lead and 19 ppb of Mercury (source). for reference the level thats suppose to be safe for kids is 5 ppb lead.

and its the fluoride free natural one, the one youd grab if your trying to avoid the junk. thier dragon dazzle flavor came back 428. we all read labels now but lead isnt a ingrediant so its not printed anywhere, reading the box gets you nothing. theres a class action over it now.

Colgate bought hello in 2020 for 351 million. every single time man. and kids swallow half of what goes on the brush anyway. what are y'all actually brushing with?

My new edition

I was told the flowers are already a month old but they’re still spectacular and fragrant. I was just happy to buy one in bloom as most of the catts in my collection are still too young to flower.

Old setup vs new setup

Had two small bowls with 3-4 pings each for about 3 years. Decided to get them all into one big glass bowl. Love the results, sooo much better. Here’s the before and after. I’ve never repotted pings so hoping I didn’t disturb them too much. Trying to give the moss rock a chance to bounce back after neglecting it in another setup with other plants.

New Cattleya obsession

Bought my first cattleya, 8 actually. 😅 keeping them in the screened patio. Hope I don’t have to wait too long for blooms. The bottom white pot is a C. triumphans. In the small clay pots are 3 different dowianas (2 of which are Rosita types), 2 different luminosa, a Rex and a King George. Keeping things very specific as you can see. Any others that I should include in this “family”?
