2yr old cat, sudden vomiting + lethargy — looking for most likely causes

My cat is usually super active and food-obsessed. 2 days ago he suddenly started vomiting multiple times in one day, including a pinkish liquid (could be from his pink-colored sardine food). Became very weak and lethargic for 24hrs.

Took him to urgent care — vet said he was dehydrated and possibly swallowed something. Got IV fluids and anti-nausea meds (Cerenia). Next day he was completely back to normal, eating and running around outside.

Now it's day 2 after the injections and he's acting slightly weak again, like whatever it was is returning. Also found vomit in the house but I have 5 cats so can't confirm it was him.

Urgent care recommended full workup (bloodwork, xray, radiologist, pancreas check) for ~$1000 just for diagnostics. Going to a different vet soon.

Main questions:

  • What are the most likely causes for this presentation in a young cat?
  • Could the IV fluids/Cerenia have just temporarily masked symptoms?
  • Could this be a foreign body, bad food, or something else?

Any similar experiences appreciated.

only champion in the game that can carry 4 feeders 1v5 match which is why this is my main

i even play her in jg

my favorite moments are when you lock in vayne jungle and your team starts saying report vayne prelobby only for you to drop a 25 kill match and hard carry and they spam honors

champion for players that have to look at keyboard while typing

i mean can you do literally anything useful for the team one time

hiding in a bush with your boxes while we have to 4v5 is not helping in any way shape or form

and if they build AD they just jump in attack once run away then ping question mark

just uninstall
