Hi, so basically my friend was a SHS recon applicant and he was part of batch 5. Unfortunately, he was already enrolled in another school when they accepted him so initially his parents didn’t let him go anymore, pero bigla sila pumayag yesterday??? He never got to pay for the reservation fee and he did email the office regarding the possibility to enroll but they haven’t gotten back to him yet. So I was js wondering if anyone’s had a similar experience and if they were allowed to enroll 😅

I saw a few posts online about how some STEM profs are unnecessarily strict or bad. Either bulok mag turo or bulok sa grading or both 😭 pls share your experience bcs I really like UST environment wise but I cannot bear having to be pasang awa js cos the prof is bad

My preference is UT5 or UT4 but I can’t find any for rent huhu. Are there other ways to look for a condo? Any other platform?

I js wanna make the right choice. Both are good schools and though ust being cheaper is a good thing, price isn’t really a big factor.

My strand in ust is stem and my cluster in dlsu is engineering. My plan is to take chemical engineering either in the big 4 or abroad, and my siblings have attended both of these schools but they have different opinions about where I should go.

Where do I wanna go? I don’t know. But what’s holding me back from ust is the fact that they start in a week or so, and I still need to advance study bcs i struggled academically in my previous school and I don’t want that to happen again. As for dlsu, nothing’s exactly holding me back but also nothing is pulling me in??? I have a few close friends going there and idk, a part of me thinks that, while they are good friends, being in the same school as them will hold me back. Also, I’ve heard nothing but good things about the dlsu shs teachers, which is quite the opposite of what I’ve been seeing about ust shs teachers.

My priority is to somehow get accepted at a uni abroad despite my JHS record and find a better environment where I can grow emotionally and academically.

Sorry for the lengthy post but I hope i can get some advice 🙏🏻
