Compact car seat

I’m hoping for a recommendation for a car seat. We have our main car seat and stroller travel combo, but I need a car seat that is ultra compact that will last us a while. The car seat will be going in a very small car in the Caribbean islands. It will remain with the car. It doesn’t need to click into a stroller. I’m thinking a convertible car seat is best.

They don’t have the car in the US, but for size reference it’s smaller than the Kia Rio that is sold in the US. Doesn’t have to be a fancy car seat or have all of the fancy features - just want it to be safe. The car seat will see sand and abuse from the beach! thanks in advance for any recommendation😊

Reflection 311BHS - Size of open space in back room?

Hi all! I hoping a fellow owner of a reflection 311bhs might see this and can help! We have a new baby who will be joining us on our adventures! Our camper is in storage while we navigate the newborn trenches, but I am looking forward to getting back in the RV. I wanted to purchase a pack and play/ travel crib for the RV. there is a good size open space in our back room where I am hoping it will go, and wondered if that space will fit a standard pack and play, or if I will need a more compact travel crib option. Any chance someone knows the measurements of that space? Long shot, but worth an ask and hoping to score a deal on one during Amazon Prime Days. Thanks in advance!

Ergo Embrace fit check

First time posting with a fit check. I have learned so much from this group. I would also appreciate tips on how to keep the shoulder straps low on my shoulders? The straps keep creeping back towards my neck. Thank you!

Chicco Sidekick Plus

Hello! First time Mom here and I am learning so much from this group. I have read through a lot of the fit check posts, along with the safety guidelines, and image album for safe baby wearing there are so many helpful resources here. And posting because I just picked up the Chico sidekick plus. This carrier allows you to wear it in three different modes, but I am focusing on the infant mode. Based on what I’ve read here it looks like baby sits too low in the infant mode, according to the picture. When I have it on my baby sits just like the baby in the stock photo does. My question is – is this a safe carrier? https://www.target.com/p/chicco-sidekick-plus-3-in-1-hip-seat-carrier-titanium/-/A-80937667

I appreciate all the helpful tips I can get!

Hey all, looking for a little advice!

We currently have our rig in storage and it’s plugged into a standard household outlet just to keep the batteries maintained. I’ve been thinking about running a dehumidifier in there to help with moisture, but I’m not sure if that’s pushing it for a regular outlet.

Has anyone done this while on a standard 15/20 amp plug? Is a dehumidifier going to draw too much power in that setup?

If it is doable, what specs should I be looking for in a dehumidifier (wattage, size, etc.) to make sure I’m not overloading anything?

We have a Reflection 311BHS. The door to the bunk in the back is closed, so I’m looking for something for the main area.

Appreciate any insight or experience!
