Advice on if I'm doing the right thing.

Hello everyone. I am currently getting my bachelor's in social science with a specialization in career and life planning. I have 2 associates degrees one in psychology and anther in Human Resources. I currently work as a special needs preschool assistant. My career goal is to get into a county job such as employment specialist or career counselor. I'm not opposed to eligibility technician either. What experience do I need and how hard would it be. I have worked as a recruiter for a staffing agency before covid for 3 years. Then transitioned to education. Any advice would be appreciative.

Overlooked, unappreciated and all the above

Today was promotion for the school. My class included. I had a rude awakening... but it is what it is. I just will not put my all into this for teacher anymore. She will be pulling her own weight from now on.

The one thing I realized today as an aide is we do not get the recognition WE deserve. Not from the teacher not from the parents and at times it seems like the kids. We do it all at times more than the teachers and more than the parents. Yet we get to watch as parents thank the teachers for all their hard work and dedication. They don't know how they do it... I know how... with US!! Because without us they couldn't and wouldn't.

It was sad watching the teacher today and not one time did she say my aide she took ALL the credit. It's unfortunate.

I recently got hired on a preschool sped class. The teacher is so moody. She makes the vibe so bad. I love my coworker para but the teacher she really is horrible. She pretended to cry in a kids face today because he was screaming. I hate love the kids but I don't like the teacher.

So I just recently had to be taken down to the beginning dose of semaglutide compound ozempic. My insurance was no longer covering Zepbound. I was losing so much weight and doing so good. Now that I'm back down on .4 ozempic the food noise is horrible. I hate that I have to basically start all over.
