Hey y’all. Imma just get straight to the point. I had a previous roommate who was pretty awful. Just not a great person, has consistently made it a point to talk badly about me all throughout their lease (and still goes out of their way to do so after moving out…), and genuinely makes me deeply uncomfortable to be around. They moved out about a month ago but one of their friends moved into that unit immediately after. Since their friend moved in 3 days ago, my previous roommate has come over 3 times. Today it was twice in one day. Since coming over has talked badly about our living room and specifically made it about me. Without getting too into it, they were a wildly inconsiderate and rude roommate when they lived with us. I had to vacuum a ton of cat litter out of our shared storage closet with out AC unit in it (that also housed their cat’s litter box btw). Has gone out of their way to talk badly about me to my friends when i’m not around. To paint a better picture of this person, they invited a decent amount of people to their Bday party (many of which were friends of mine I introduced to them) and they had to cancel because no one wanted to come.

I live in a 4 person unit, all 3 of my other roommates witnessed how i was treated me and a few of our verbal altercations. And yet 2 of my roommates keep inviting them over. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve made it abundantly clear I do not like them or want them over. But I also don’t wanna be a crazy roommate, so all I asked was that they just let me know before they come over. But 3 times in 3 days, twice of which occurring today is a bit much. Like just find another place to hangout???

I don’t know what to do. Living with this person made my mental health decline (there were a few other reasons, to be fair, but they were certainly one of the main things not helping). Can I have them trespassed? My other roommate and I are planning to say something, but I don’t anticipate they’ll be very receptive. Is there anything I can do so they can no longer come over?? I’ve lived in this apartment for multiple years and now I don’t feel like I belong in this space.
