Ok so, many might not agree with me but I have been noticing, Seher and mahid’s chemistry is a bit dull now. And no, it’s not because of the age thing. It’s not that Mahid has now found out Sahar’s age so he doesn’t look at her that way or doesn’t try to. Because it was there when they first met at dargah after Seher got kicked out, also at the rooftop when Seher confessed, the hospital scenes and when they are locked in the hospital supply room and also when he pays the rikhsha wala for her exams. There was always these eyes full of love and pain. It was there also when Mahid asks Seher’s permission for mangani. Something is missing in his eyes now. That depth. It started around the mangani time. (It briefly came back in that one specific scene in the ice room when he tells her to let the engagement happen) I honestly didn’t even feel it after that during their funny and playful scenes. The whole sheermal scene. The car. Those were all cute but Mahid’s eyes were missing and I am a huge fan of them. And then after too. The dosti tracks. It’s not there. I tested my theory and went back and rewatched some scenes and I felt validated. The chemistry in previous scenes were different. Anyone else feel this way ? Some dryness and lack of depth in expression ? The only thing I can think of is the offline distance seeping into the on screen chemistry 🥲

Do we have any new info about Alina and Saad ? 🥲 Posting here because I saw couple of older posts on them. And Asking because I genuinely am still baffled and sad about their separation. I recently saw Saad was living in her apartment spending time with their daughter and Alina was at her mother’s for that time being. Alina also recently posted long stories about grief and heart break 🥲 Idk why I need closure on them 😭

Saw episode 121 promo and this was the first time ever I saw kausar seeing Mahid as a human and not just another man in their world. It actually kind of got me excited for their arc. I would love to see kausar be a mother figure to Mahid 🥹 That would heal me. Never knew I would root for this but I am. I want this relationship to be not related to seher and just a genuine human connection between them two. Especially that kausar is sooo maternal and that’s exactly what Mahid needs in his life. 🥲 Thoughts ?

Cutest episode in a while 😭 I loved the normalcy, the banter, the friendship and the quiet understanding of the limitation in this relationship. A very human side of all of this. Are we gonna talk about how much Mahid misses Sahar’s energy ? He literally openly enjoyed her presence after that glasses on her hairy face laugh. Finally some light moments. A relief. And the fact that Mahid was around the corner for “sheermal, his favorite” for the past 1 month was a chef’s kiss by the writer. A validation and reassurance Seher’s poor heart needed. Her smile upon learning that was everything. And mahid’s nervous explanations 🤌🏻Perfect chain of events for seher after realizing Mahid is getting engaged to Nazima for seher’s betterment only. I need these episodes more !!

I don’t hate the dosti track to be honest. It might actually make sense and be cute. That scene where he says to ask kausar if he can be seher’s friend was actually so cute 🫠 Also, I have a feeling now both of them are going to go back to seher’s house, will save kausar from pervez and mahid will decide to bring seher and kausar to Niyazi manzil.

Ok finally a normal discussion hopefully. Some clarity and less unnecessary nonsense fights. I really can’t wait for the next episode. The conversation between them seems so real, candid and human 😭 ahhh

I really don’t think it’s Waseem. They wouldn’t give that away so easily. And also, if he was, why would he hide that from his own wife ? He’s clearly plotting to kill Mahid so there’s obviously no shame around murders there. I think he’s right when he reassures his wife that he intended to marry her but she preferred death over marrying him. I THINK it’s Fatima, Waseem’s wife. She didn’t care about the mufti status the husband was going to get and couldn’t oppose him either. I think the writers purposely portrayed her to be vulnerable and weak so no one ever guesses it could be her, for shock value. She didn’t want her husband to marry Ghazala and couldn’t stop her husband so she killed Ghazala instead. I think this “Bichari” is an act and she’s a lot vicious than she’s portrayed. (Either that or she killed her in impulsivity to save her marriage but regardless I think it’s her). I think Husna Phuphi might be in on it because she wanted waseem not marrying Ghazala, Waseem getting close to the mufti title and stealing Haidar’s chance. (This one’s a maybe).

Now off topic, today’s episode was barbad beshumar 🫠 I expected Mahid to walk away and saher to break down in private but Mahid turning around to witness that was just 🤌🏻 😭 The hurt and hopelessness in his eyes for hurting seher was sooo well acted. I wanted to cry.

P.s they definitely messed up the order of the promos. Played one ahead of time and skipped one by accident. Now we have a repeating promo. Lolll

I know some of you don’t like it and some of you do. I like parts of it. I like how both their complexed feelings came out. Mahid confessed to Haidar how painful is the separation and Sahar’s confession without the extra drama was refreshing. But, I wish they sort of showed Mahid thinking about that confession more. That was definitely a BIG revelation. He was under the impression that she didn’t really care for him at all and only her studies and had a one sided repressed love going on. But they didn’t really show much of him thinking about it or his internal feelings or yearning ? He right away jumped to saving her and staying stone faced. Did anyone feel that way ? I wonder if it’s because they are trying to be appropriate and not show the “love for a minor” but that’s the complex human part of it. Knowing the wrong and acting on right but sitting with your feelings developed when you didn’t know she was a minor.
