Does anyone else end up moving their baby swing from room to room all day?

I just went back to work, and luckily my mom lives close enough to watch my 4-month-old during the day. It's been a huge help, but she pointed something out the other day that I hadn't even thought about.

She's moving our baby's swing around the house constantly. It'll start in the living room, then end up in the kitchen while she's making lunch, then somehow make its way upstairs later in the day. My son just seems happier when he can see whoever's with him.

The only problem is our swing is pretty bulky, so she keeps having to drag it from room to room. I honestly never realized how often we'd end up moving the thing. I joke that it's become part of her daily workout, but I'd really rather she didn't have to carry it around the house all day lol.

Does anyone else do this, or does your swing pretty much stay in one spot? He’s not spending a ton of time in there but when she has to focus on something else, its def his happy place lol.

What’s the best platform to track ChatGPT mentions for SaaS brand awareness?

I’m the CMO at a Series A funded SaaS startup. We’ve been investing a lot of time and money into PR to increase brand awareness. Those efforts are clearly generating results as far as getting news coverage and other earned media placements.

The thing I’m less sure about is how LLMs like ChatGPT are representing our brand when people ask questions on those platforms. I’d also like to create a feedback loop that allows me to see how our PR efforts are influencing the narrative in ChatGPT over time.

Right now I'm mostly checking manually every so often, which isn't exactly scalable. What are you using to track this across AI search? Ideally I'd like to compare how our visibility changes over time.

What are some affordable online universities for an adult going back to school?

I tried college once when I was 18 and made it 3 semesters before dropping out. Fast forward 20 years and I’m working a full time job that’s fine but I’ve got the itch to try and go to school again. I can’t stop working to go to classes and there aren’t really many colleges near where I live anyway so online is going to be my best option but I don’t really know where to look. I’m wary of “diploma mill” schools I hear about and don’t want to waste my time or money at a place that isn’t accredited. Any recommendations on where to start looking would be great!

Can someone explain how Google decides which local businesses to show in maps?

I opened a landscaping company last year and it’s been going well. I’ve gotten 20+ five star reviews, customers are happy and telling their friends about my services. A competitor with HALF the number of reviews is ranking above me in Google Maps.

When I started the business, I expected Google Maps to be a huge channel for leads. So far I don’t know if I’ve gotten any new clients that way. It’s all been word of mouth. Don’t get me wrong, this is great and I appreciate all the referrals. But I’m trying to grow and I’m confused about how Google decides which businesses to show at the top of searches.

My competitor only has 11 reviews and a 4.6 rating. I have 23 and they’re all 5 stars. Logically I would think that my listing would rank above theirs, right? But they’re consistently showing up in position 1 or 2 and I’m not even close.

I thought I did all the things. Verified my GMB profile. Filled out all the categories, added photos. I know my address and hours are correct. It seems like I’m missing something fundamental about how this works.

What am I doing wrong?
