Greenfield Morning I Pushed an Empty Baby Carriage All Over the City
This is so creepy.

This is so creepy.
I'm a straight furry myself, not to mention vixen lover, and I feel alone.
Fans consider this album their worst. It was also less successful than their other albums, being the first album of theirs to not make it to the top ten in the US and only selling two million copies worldwide. Not even REM themselves thought highly of it. According to guitarist Peter Buck: "it just wasn't really listenable, because it sounds like what it is: a bunch of people that are so bored with the material that they can't stand it anymore." Rolling Stone added it to their list titled: "50 Horrible Albums by Genuinely Brilliant Artists."
REM was not a product of its time. It didn't give into the hair-metal/synthpop trend. It feels so organic and charismatic, it has a production like a band from the 60s or 70s. If these guys can defy and destroy the 80s mold and be successful popular anyway, what's stopping me from doing the same in the 2020s?
