Portfolio Review

Hello,

I'm currently a senior working on my bachelor's in graphic design and UX/UI. I've been building my portfolio as a summer project of my own and would love some critique on it. I built it from scratch, so I would love to know if you run into any technical errors, as well as a general critique on the projects themselves. I am specifically looking for what you think is or isn't working, anything you'd get rid of, and what you'd like to see more of.

I currently work as a graphic designer, but my career ambitions are in UX/UI engineering or product design long-term, so any critique on how I can accommodate those goals would also be appreciated.

Here's the link to the portfolio noahtmlansing-design.com

Also, it looks best on desktop, but either one works; I just want to hear your thoughts on it.

GIS Certificate with UX design bachelor's?

So I had the recent thought about pairing my UX design bachelor's with a GIS certificate and wanted some opinions on the matter. It seems like a great combination for me coming into the field as a junior. It not only specializes the UX roles available but also, from what I've seen, it's way easier to get into GIS as a junior than UX, and would be a nice employment cushion. Additionally, I have almost been looking at UX careers as more of a promotional role now, something that I may be able to possibly grow into but is nearly impossible to enter as a junior with no work experience.

Also, the crossover between UX and GIS seems pretty broad, with there being so many internal digital tools that utilize GIS mapping and lack good UX, as well as public tools like Uber or Google Maps where design is more heavily prioritized.

Furthermore, I have picked up an interest in development from my time studying UX in school and would love to pursue a more technical direction in the field witch I believe getting a GIS certificate would help with as well.

I'd love to hear if any of you have pursued a similar direction and would love to hear any other thoughts :)

Small bump on uvula

Hello, so I’m 22 years old and noticed a small bump on my uvula and have been trying to figure out what it is. I’ve noticed it for about a month now and have decided to go to an ENT to get it checked out as it hasn’t gone away or gotten smaller since.

I’d just like some insight on what it could be and if I should be concerned.

I’m thinking it’s HPV but would like your insight.
