Shane Wright?

I feel like the only guy hoping to land Shane Wright. TBH, I don’t love him as a prospect/player but my belief is that he can skate, goes to the hard areas and is very coachable. Centering the second or third line with upside seems like a cheap no brainer and I don’t think it would take much more than Ike Howard. I don’t dislike Howard and would love to see him turn into a Stankoven/Blake type player.
Anybody have some thoughts on it for discussion?

Should we start rating our customers and guests?

If I have to be honest, I am writing this post because I am tired of getting dumb reviews from really DUMB customers and guests. I am fascinated by the way that UBER operates while maintaining customer service but also allowing the drivers to rate their passengers.
This isn’t even about politeness, intelligence or tipping, it’s about the Karen’s of the world getting away with bullshit reviews because they didn’t get what they wanted.

Anybody got a story or a Karen in Langford or Victoria?

Calm down already!

Now that Dallas and Minnesota are out of the race, can the Oilers fans just calm down already? Seriously, Dallas with all their weapons, depth and experience can’t get past round 1. Minny…out in 5.

The Oilers were banged up and need to experience reality for a moment.

This team is awesome, fun and still going places.

For context, I have been dealing with Sciatica for years and haven’t ever really dealt with a back problem. Also, this is a back injury story, not a back issue.
I am 50 is and golf 3-4 times a week. This year, on some colder days, I tweaked something on the course. I continued to play for another few weeks and then in late December, I tweaked it again. I thought both times were slight pulled back muscles so after a few days, went to play again. On the 15th hole, it got worse and despite this, I kept playing and finished the round. By the time I got to my car, I couldn’t walk and the next 48 hours were full spasms.

I pulled and damaged most of the ligaments and tendons in my SI joint.
After calming the Injury with ice, I got mobile with a chiropractor and a physiotherapist. Over the next three months, I did my CORE exercises every two days.

What I have learned? i had no core strength. NOW I not only have core strength but I drive the ball further than ever before and less importantly, I have NO sciatica.

Sometimes bad things happen by failing or getting injured and you can improve your life because of it.
