I’ve known her since 2017(clss 9th). Back then, I wasn’t really that good academically, while she was quite good at studies. Honestly, no girl had ever cared for me the way she did. She always looked out for me and genuinely cared about me.
At that time, I wasn’t that attracted to her, but as we moved from 10th to 11th and then 12th, my feelings and attraction towards her kept growing. Now I’m a software engineer, and she’s going to graduate from IIM in 2027.
I know she might have a boyfriend, or she might not. Maybe she has dated people in the past, maybe she hasn’t. I honestly don’t know.
But here’s the thing: for the last six years, whenever I’ve felt romantically attracted to someone or imagined being with someone, somehow I always end up thinking about her. I don’t even know why.
Should I send her a request on Instagram and just confess my feelings? I know there’s a good chance she might reject me, and I’m prepared for that. But I genuinely love her, and I feel like I at least need to tell her once rather than spending more years wondering, “What if?”
I've met quite a few people lately. I also talk to a lot of guys at Anytime Fitness in Sector 74. Face-to-face interactions are good, we have normal conversations, and sometimes I feel like maybe a friendship will develop.
But then I realize that if I don't go face-to-face and talk to them daily, say good morning, or initiate a conversation, then almost nothing comes of it.
It's the same situation on Reddit. I try to talk to people, but somehow, genuine friendships don't develop.(Met so many offline)
And honestly, I think if it were somewhere else, the situation would probably be quite different. I don't know why, but I think I'd have made at least 10 genuinely good friends there by now.
Sometimes I feel like I should have just moved to a different corner. 😭
Sometimes in Noida, it feels like people are perfectly okay on the outside, but quite disconnected and hollow on the inside. Everyone is busy with their own lives, and making a real friendship feels weirdly difficult.
Maybe it's just my experience and I'm overthinking it, but I'm genuinely curious — does anyone else feel like this in Noida?
Pichhle kuch time mein main kaafi logon se mila hoon. Sector 74 ke Anytime Fitness gym mein bhi bahut saare ladkon se baat karta hoon. Face-to-face interactions bhi achhe hote hain, normal conversations hoti hain, kabhi-kabhi lagta hai ki shayad friendship ban jayegi.
Lekin phir realize hota hai ki agar main khud saamne jaakar daily baat na karun, Good Morning na bolun, ya conversation initiate na karun, toh saamne se almost kuch bhi nahi aata.
Reddit par bhi same scene hai. Logon se baat karne ki koshish karo, but somehow actual friendship develop hi nahi hoti.Lots of meetup in Noida
Aur honestly, mujhe lagta hai agar main Delhi ya Gurgaon mein hota, toh shayad situation kaafi different hoti. Pata nahi kyun, but wahan mujhe lagta hai ki ab tak at least 10 genuinely good friends ban chuke hote.
Kabhi-kabhi toh lagta hai ki mujhe Gurgaon ya Delhi side mein hi apna ghar lena chahiye tha. 😭
Noida mein kabhi-kabhi aisa feel hota hai ki log outwardly perfectly okay hain, but andar se kaafi disconnected aur hollow hain. Everyone is busy with their own life, and making an actual friendship feels weirdly difficult.
Maybe it's just my experience and I'm overthinking it, but I'm genuinely curious — kya kisi aur ko bhi Noida mein aisa feel hota hai?
Hey! I'm planning to attend Inder Sahani's show in Noida and I'm going alone.
If anyone else is going and wants to attend together(14aug)
