me and my gf we are from bangalore we got recently placed here in noida yesterday we went to venice mall , at entrance some guys were stalking her badly so i tried to scoled them but they come in group and hold my collor muscular hunks, and ofc a single guy can fight 7-8 hunk guys , in the end my gf have to beg them to leave me, and they verbally abused me
i mean its so baddd
i mean they commented on my gf ,talked shit about her and she was still begging them , i mean this broke me, they commented on her clothes body everything

It’s been closed for nearly four months.

Serious Issues at Grandthum, Greater Noida West — Group 108.Grandthum owners are facing several serious issues:

- Maintenance charges: Builder is demanding ₹21/sqft initially and ₹24/sqft later, despite the project being incomplete. This amount is also not mentioned in the BBA and was introduced years after purchase.

- Poor infrastructure: Water leakage from upper floors reaching lower floors, construction material lying around, non-functional lifts and unsafe/open lift areas.

- Prepaid electricity meters: Prepaid meters have been installed and linked with maintenance payments, creating pressure to pay disputed maintenance charges or risk electricity being disconnected.

- Internet monopoly: Currently, only Gigatel is allowed to install internet. They reportedly charge around ₹4,000 extra for installation, while other providers are still unavailable.

- Wi-Fi linked to maintenance: Owners are reportedly not being allowed to get Wi-Fi installed unless maintenance charges are paid.

- Fit-out restrictions: Owners are being stopped from carrying out fit-out work if maintenance charges are not paid.

- Incomplete development: Grandthum has multiple phases, yet owners are being charged maintenance despite the project still being under development.

The biggest concern

The project is still not completed and registry has not been done for many owners, yet the builder is aggressively forcing maintenance payments by using prepaid electricity meters to cut/stop electricity, restricting Wi-Fi installation and even stopping fit-out work.

Despite the seriousness of these issues, UP RERA and GNIDA have not provided any effective relief or resolution to the affected owners.

I need help from people

Hi! I need some genuine opinion.
I am considering an offer letter received from a Company in Noida.
As I am a fresher, I am receiving around 70k monthly in hand. I need to relocate to Noida for this job.
How much will be the approx living expenses. I need to understand if it’s feasible for me to move and live in Noida.
It’s a Finance role and the Company office is in Sector 98.
Also would like to add as a woman, do I need to have any safety concerns before moving there and what neighbourhood should be good for me, if I were to move?

Aaj metro mein main seat par baitha tha. Mere bagal mein ek ladki aakar baith gayi aur burger kha rahi thi.

Main mummy se phone par baat kar raha tha aur baat karte waqt thoda aage jhuk gaya. Tab usne mujhe bola, “Jhuk kyun rahe ho? Seedhe baitho.”

Call cut hone ke baad maine politely poocha, “Kya bol rahi thi?” To usne kaha, “Jhuk kyun rahe the yahan? Zyada chauda ban rahe ho? Police ko call karun?”

Maine argue nahi kiya, bas seat se uth gaya.

Honestly, mujhe samajh nahi aaya ki meri taraf se aisa kya tha jo itna suspicious laga. 😅

I’m genuinely curious—kya kisi aur ke saath bhi metro/public transport mein aisa hua hai, jahan saamne wale ne bina kisi obvious reason ke aapko suspicious ya threatening way mein confront kiya ho?

I don’t know if it’s just nostalgia, but Noida feels very different from what I remember. I was in Noida today (Barclays) after almost 12 years, & it took me back to around 2011/12. Back then, there wasn’t even a metro in Sector 62. The autos were a headache, jam near sai mandir, mamora red light chaos, roads could be a mess, the city "obviously wasn’t perfect" but somehow everything felt a little more open +manageable.

In 2026, there are buildings, towers everywhere, traffic on roads that I remember being relatively empty, & a general sense of everything being packed together. It’s strange because Noida has obviously progressed a lot. But seeing it again after so many years made me realise how much I miss the quieter, less crowded version of the city.

Maybe that’s just what happens when you return to a place after 12+ years. You remember the little things more than you remember the problems.

Had a strong coffee and couldn't fall asleep

Just saw some posts regarding " aaj mujhe koi birthday wish nhi kiya " . So let me tell you my story.

So I belong to a very middle class bengali family.

We used to celebrate birthdays as kids by just making kheer at home and didn't invite anyone .

Later , when I grew up , I went to school and there I got friends. I promise my friends never remembered my birthday. It was just my parents who always remembered and wished me . Regarding friends ,in school we used to give treats to our small group. But whenever any other guy had a birthday, everyone wished him first because they all remembered their birthday. But whenever it used to be my birthday, I used to give treats to the group then they used to figure out that it's my birthday.

I always wish my friends on their birthday but they never remembered my birthday .

And currently I am in an IIT here also , my group is so small that no one remembered my birthday and I didn't tell anyone either .no one to offer me gpl here, cut cake with me . That's how it goes . Just be yourself, real ones will always be with you .
