Lightning Bombs across the Mashobra Valley Last night but fortunately light rain and no damage.
Foxglove Plant. Not very common to see in the area, they are not wild and have to be planted. Ours got damaged thanks to the hailstorms but hopefully they will be back out soon!
The Sky has its own show every morning and evening!
Bearded Iris now coming into bloom . They survived the hailstorm because most are growing below bigger trees.
New Lows being achieved already by tourists this year. Pissing on Mall Road, right next to the lake.
A visit to Mall road on a cloudy day today.
Lower Bazaar Shimla. Tons of childhood memories buying weekly from here
Lady Banks - A one time bloomer but fantastic for Green cover!
Even more hail today, even stronger than yesterday. Whatever number of fruits trees that survived would have probably got damaged today. Very sad.
The incident occurred on Friday near Tavi Mod in Shimla when the policeman, who was on duty instructed Ashish Kumar, a local taxi driver, to remove his vehicles parked on the roadside.
However, Kumar told him that as he was alone, he could remove only one vehicle at a time — either his car or his bike. This irritated the cop, who then warned him of a challan, leading to an argument between the two.
As the ASI proceeded to issue a challan, Kumar started recording a video on his mobile phone, alleging that the policeman was misbehaving with him. The situation escalated when Kumar tried to capture the ASI’s nameplate in the video, during which the officer kicked him.
