A few photos of Gianluca Casseri, the perpetrator of the 2011 Florence shootings.

On December 13th, 2011 (oddly enough, the same day and time as the 2011 Liège attack, which also involved a firearm attack in a public area), a 50-year-old far-right author killed 2 people and wounded 3 others across two shootings in Florence, Italy.

The shootings:

The gunman first opened fire on Senegalese vendors at a market using a .357-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver (coincidently similar to the one the Liège shooter had) , killing 2 people and injuring another.

He then fled the scene and drove to a second market, where he shot and wounded 2 more Senegalese traders.

Before he could claim any further victims, police located him and a standoff ensued. Realizing he was cornered, the gunman fatally shot himself.

The perpetrator:

The attacker was a 50-year-old man named Gianluca Casseri. He was associated with, though not formally a member of, the neo-fascist organization CasaPound.

Little information about his personal life is available in English-language sources. However, he is known to have co-authored a historical-fiction novel titled La Chiave del Caos and to have published a J. R. R. Tolkien-themed newsletter.

3 photos of Mario Steinbrecher, 18. Who wounded 1 in an attempted mass shooting at a Austrian high school in 2018.

Steinbrecher entered Bundesschulzentrum Mistelbach school in lower Austria, armed with a Baikal NT-18 shotgun single-shot shotgun. Also wearing a black trench coat with pockets stuffed with shells. He opened fire in a hallway injuring a student, then his gun either malfunctioned or he lost his nerve, and dropped the gun. Steinbrecher then attempted to flee to Vienna, but was shortly after captured.

Jožef Meneder, and the 1993 Vranje shooting.

On June 3rd, 1993, a Serbian-Hungarian soldier named Jožef Meneder killed seven fellow soldiers at a military base in Yugoslavia.

The massacre:

Meneder was serving at the Južnomoravska Brigade barracks in Vranje and had reportedly been detained for reasons that remain unclear. Late that same day, he escaped from his cell, assaulted a guard, and seized his rifle, likely a Zastava M70.

After obtaining the weapon, Meneder entered the barracks and opened fire. Seven soldiers were killed and four others were wounded before he turned the weapon on himself.

The perpetrator:

Jožef Meneder, 19, was an ethnic Hungarian from Vojvodina who had worked as a carpenter before being conscripted into military service. According to various reports, he was known as a dark and unusual individual.

Some sources claim that Meneder was involved in Satanism, citing alleged occult-themed tattoos and involvement in a death metal band. He has also been linked to the so-called Loša Vera cult, which was reportedly an offshoot of the Crna Ruža ("Black Rose") cult.

However, information about either group is extremely scarce. Even Serbian-language sources provide little detail, and some people have claimed that Crna Ruža never existed at all.

One particularly strange claim is that Meneder had the date "June 3rd" tattooed on his body before the attack. If true, it could suggest that the massacre was planned in advance. Some have speculated that his detention may have been connected to preparations for the attack, but there is no clear evidence to confirm this.

More than three decades later, many aspects of the case remain unexplained.

An image of the Balochistan Liberation Army terrorist Bilal Shahwani, who 4 days ago (may 24) committed a suicide bombing in Pakistan that killed 47+ people and injured almost 100.

The perpetrator drove a explosive laden vehicle into a train in Quetta, Pakistan, it then detonated destroying part of the train. This attack is quite similar to other BLA attacks like: the 2024 Quetta railway station bombing, and the 2025 Jaffar Express hijacking.

Some photos of the sawed off TOZ-34 shotgun used by Anatoly Onoprienko, to kill many of his 52 victims.

Anatoly Onoprienko was a Ukrainian/Soviet serial killer who ended the lives of 52. His crime spree started in 1989 till he was captured in 1996. His usual method was to enter homes at night, shoot the parents, stab or gun down the children, then raze the house. He would also kill any possible witnesses, and also often would kill people in random drive-byes.
Anatoly was captured after a relative he was staying with found items that seemed too pricy for Anatoly, then when looking further his illegal firearms were located. The relative called the police, leading them to his stash. He was originally sentenced to death but capital punishment was abolished in Ukraine soon after. Anatoly died of heart failure in 2013.
One terrible detail was that during the manhunt a suspect, Yury Mozola was tortured to death by police trying to get a confession out of him. A similar thing happened in the same region during the search for the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs.

Some illustrations of the 1789 Senlis massacre, that ended the lives of 26 and injured 41.

On December 13, 1789. Watchmaker and arquebusier, Louis Michel Rieul Billon opened fire on a military parade killing 12. He then detonated barrels of gunpowder he had stockpiled killing many more. Some say his motive was anger over not being allowed to march with the other arquebusiers, but others say it was due to a revolutionary sentiment it was too long ago to know. It was the deadliest mass shooting in French history till the tragic 2015 Paris attacks.

Does anyone know anything about this terrorist attack?

I was browsing the Wikipedia page "List of rampage killers (religious, political, or ethnic crimes)" and I can't find anything about it. The link is dead, and searching anything to do with it brings up nothing related. The closest I could find was a mass shooting in Handan in 1980, but the info doesn't line up. So does anyone know anything about this incident?. Thanks!

A photo of Genildo Ferreira de França, the perpetrator of a mass shooting in brazil that killed 14.

On May 21-22, 1997. Genildo Ferreira de Franç shot dead 15 (including himself). His motive was killing instigators of a long running rumor he was gay, along with people who owed him money.

The attack stretched over in and around Santo Antônio do Potengi.

He used two handguns, a Taurus PT57 and a Taurus Model 689.

The gunman was finally killed after he shot himself in the chest just before, a shootout with the police at a banana plantation. At his death he still had over 100 rounds of ammunition left, a knife, and many people on his hitlist still alive.

Genildo is to this day the deadliest mass shooter in Brazilian history (not including gangs/cartels)

The 1945 Dieppe shootings, a very obscure, but very deadly attack.

Image above is of Dieppe France at the time.

The 1945 Dieppe killings were a series of attacks committed by a soldier of the north African battalions named Abd el Maleck, on June 10 - 11 1945. The attack began when after his victim declined his sexual advances Abd el Maleck assaulted the 18 year old girl with a knife, she thankfully survived this stabbing.

Later he was spotted by a battalion officer, this man confronted Maleck because he was suspiciously hiding a rifle under his coat. In a (possibly drunken) rage Maleck shot at the officer, but none of the rounds hit.
Maleck then went to the center of town and opened fire, killing 8 and injuring many more.

After this Maleck disappeared into the darkness, that night the gendarmerie and military organized joint patrols hunting for the killer.

The next morning (June 11) he killed 1 woman in her home.
He was then located hiding in an abandoned German pillbox.
He then barricaded himself in the ruins of a bombed out radar station, where his last stand began.
Maleck fired at police and passing civilians, killing 6.
He then was captured by police who found him hiding in a nearby tunnel.

In the end 15 were dead and 8 wounded.
Abd el Maleck was sentenced to death on September 22, 1945.

He was executed by firing squad on February 14, 1946.
