I built an AI-powered tennis app that turns your post-match rants into scouting reports (plus an Apple Watch score tracker)

Hey r/AppBusiness,

As an amateur tennis player, I always ran into the same frustrations: finding people at my level to play with was a chore, and trying to remember what I actually needed to improve from match to match was almost impossible.

Most tennis apps out there are either just basic scorekeepers or glorified WhatsApp groups. I wanted something smarter that actually helps you improve, so I built Tenisime.

Here’s what makes the app stand out:

⌚ Apple Watch Integration I built a companion watch app so you don't even need to touch your phone during the match. You track the score point-by-point directly on your wrist. It even handles "early-ended" matches gracefully if your court time runs out before the set is over, seamlessly syncing the partial data back to your phone.

🎤 Voice-First Journaling ("Speak Up") Nobody wants to type out an analysis on a screen with sweaty hands after a 2-hour game. With Tenisime, you just hold the mic and talk. You can literally rant about your missed backhands or how the opponent played. The AI transcribes the audio, extracts the score, tags your mood, and structures it into a clean journal entry.

🤖 AI Coach & Opponent Scouting Because the app processes your voice notes, it acts as a pocket coach. Before your next game against a familiar opponent, it gives you a "Pre-Match Briefing". It pulls up your past head-to-head and reminds you: "Last time, his second serve was very weak, and you struggled with your footwork."

🏆 Local Leagues & Tournaments To keep retention high, we built in full support for local competition. You can join leagues, track your standings, and see your upcoming fixtures. The best part? The AI coach hooks into this and gives you scouting briefings for your next tournament opponents.

🎾 No More WhatsApp Spam To solve the casual matchmaking problem, instead of messaging 5 different group chats, you create a "Match Request" (e.g., "Looking for a 3.5 NTRP player on Tuesday"). It notifies matching nearby players, and then you can actually select one of many interested players!

The Business Model: The core loop—finding matches, participating in leagues, using the Apple Watch app to keep score, and basic session logging—is completely free. The premium tier unlocks the deeper AI Coach analysis, post-session feedback, and the advanced opponent scouting reports.

Tenis serve - what should I improve?

Hello, can you check what am I exactly doing wrong when it comes to the serve? I am totally inconsistent when it comes to it, I can have 4 aces in a row and then 4 double faults. Maybe you can help me to improve it, because its hard to play when I am losing with myself
