Climbing chalk bag turned chair bag, help please!

Hello!! So pre disability I was a climber, and I recently found this unused chalk bag I won at a comp awhile ago, and I thought it would make a good wheelchair bag. It fits my phone or water bottle perfectly but I want to make sure I attach it right.

These are the best pictures I got of what I think would be the best place…? I haven’t tested it in the real world as I want to decorate the bag cuz the color kinda sucks imo. Do you guys think the way I attached it will be ok? For the pic under my chair, I also included a duplicate with a line drawn over to help you see the strap since it’s pretty dark.

Also, I just used the belt strap that it came with, so if y’all know of an attachment product that could work better with my little bag, I’m open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

PS, if you don’t have any advice on the attachment problem, I’m accepting suggestions of what to do for my bag decorations too :) I’m gonna try to use paint but may use sewing/needlework if it doesn’t stick.

Sword: used to attack physical things. Meds: used to attack health problems. Med bottle sword: used to physically attack health problems, right? 🤪

Edit: if someone wants a picture tutorial, I made one after I posted so I can send a DM if you’re interested! Or someone asked on here already and I gave a word based answer so you can find that too. Hopefully it makes sense 😅

Kraft Mac with broccoli (and a question)

So I usually don’t add stuff to Mac n cheese (picky eater over here 🫣) but I’m trying to push some of my boundaries a little bit where I can. So I started with broccoli today!! However, it kind of kept that raw texture and didn’t soften like I thought it would. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make the broccoli have a more “steamed” or softened texture, but in a low spoons way? (Also there were bigger chunks in there before this photo, this is my first food post so I forgot to take one before eating lol)

Newbie wants to find friends

Hello there, I’m a relatively new ambulatory wheelchair user and I’m kind of struggling to find a community. I’m dealing with a lot of chronic conditions along with a lot of depression and I really want to get out of this hole. Last winter I didn’t have my chair so I rarely went out and it got pretty dark for me and I don’t want a repeat of that this winter.

I’m open to online friends but tbh, irl friends help a lot more. I’m in the northern Milwaukee area in WI if anyone is near by or has any resource suggestions, I’m open to a bunch. Also, while I know Chicago is kinda close, the drive to IL is a lot for me. For an irl suggestions, I’d say keep it inside the Sheboygan-Madison-Kenosha triangle please (and thank you).

A little bit more about me: I’m 19, been dealing with my physical conditions for over a year now, and got my chair this spring/summer. Pre-disabled me was a competitive climber in high school, which then lead me down the path of coaching. I hope one day I can go back to school and become a climbing coach, best out come being a para climbing coach, and teach kids about the sport I love. I’m also sort of artsy, I’d say I’m an intermediate doodler or crafter. I’m a multi-medium artist in the way that I can’t stick to one type 😅. Most days when I’m trying to conserve energy I’m watching anime and playing little online puzzle games. Right now I’m in the middle of watching My Hero Academia, but also rewatching Dan Da Dan at the same time.

So yea, if anyone has recommendations, resources, or want to be friends lmk. I’m very new to Reddit so Imma poke around my account and figure out where I can see DMs but I’ll make sure to respond to comments too!
