Expansion vs RotW character questions
I haven’t upgraded from pre-nerf warlock patch 3.09 yet. I have been grinding to 99 with my overpowered Lock until last week when I finally hit 99 (don’t judge me, I have a newborn and haven’t been able to spend much time). I’m going to download the most recent patch so I can get back online and play with my buddy, we’re going to do a 2player self found hardcore attempt. Planning to do so in the next week or so, hoping to find a sorc and pally torch first, those are the only two I don’t have.
I’m going to start a trav barb on SP next, and have a lvl 90 sorc.
Unfortunately I only have pre-rotw cold and lightning sunders. No physical sunder for the barb. I haven’t found any of the new renewed sunders yet.
I was tentatively planning to make another sorceress in expansion mode to find og sunders, because they were so easy to find. Is this worth the time/effort?
Also had the idea that it would be nice to have an expansion char to run tz andy. Are andy drops nerfed still with an expansion character? Can i transfer expansion items to rotw by making new chars still?
I have plenty of shards to terrorize acts (65 western, 27 E, 12 S, 6 D, 8 N) but am nervous that my sorc and barb and nerfed lock won’t be able to hang. I have plenty of mid to high range gear, and have one or more of each rune except zod (no jah or ber, they were used on my enigma). I have a cta, and was planning to use my lo for the barb.
Should I bother with an expansion char? Or will I be able to farm renewed sunders? Is tz andy nerfed?
Edit: Did not know expansion transferring would be ending, so it looks like the question is moot.
