My first big project! Stocking for my soon to be born niece, featuring their family dog! By no means is it perfect—I tore velvet out of 100 places and wish I had found better colors—but it will do! I put so much pressure on because i want it to be an heirloom piece, so I stuck with DMC cotton for washability and sturdiness.

Any recs for finishing?? I’ve been scoping out Rittenhouse but would love any thoughts, as I’ve only done self finishing to date!
