I have found myself in the position to be able to finally join the 911 club. After lots of research and test drives I have found myself deciding between the two cars listed in the title: 991.2 T vs 992.2 T!
Both similarly equipped (FAL, RAS, etc) what would you choose and why?
I like a lot of things about both of them so hoping someone that has owned both can chime in.
My mom passed away a few months ago and had a traditional 401k and had me as the beneficiary.
I opened an inherited IRA and submitted the paperwork to vanguard to get everything moved over to it.
I have been monitoring the progress and so far it seems to have gone like this:
They Moved actual 401k to my account (not Ira yet just vanguard account).
They then moved balance of 401k to my sweep account in the inherited IRA.
That last part is giving me heartburn….. as I thought it would be brought over “in kind.”
So my main question is: is this normal?
Do they do 401k->sweep-> In kind? Eg a 3 step process?
Or should it have never gone into the sweep account in the first place and something has gone wrong?
