Soaring rent prices.
A couple of years ago, when I was doing my B.Tech, 1 BHK room rents around( Old/New Town, Bagalur, Air Force and Reva) ranged from 5k to 10k.
Now, a decent non furnished, 5+ year old 1 BHK in New Town costs ₹20k+ and near bagaluru it starts from ₹15k+.
That’s an increase of more than 25%. 📈
At this rate, very soon yelahanka will become unaffordable for students.
How much are you guys paying if you’re staying in a rented house, and what’s your opinion these increasing rent prices every year ?
