Follicle question

I am in my two week wait so naturally my brain is spinning…

I did letrozole days 5-9, CD9 had follicle measurements of 16,12 … that was my only ultrasound as my doctor said she can just map it out from there. So early am CD 12 I triggered and afternoon cd 13 (37 hours later) I had my IUI.

I wish I had had one more US to see how things were progressing…

So to ease my curiosity/brain spinning … I was wondering if anybody else had a similar ovulation induction and first cycle day follicle measurement, and then had ultrasounds to show what their measurements were further along..

Thank you 💙

Letrozole days 5-9

Experiences with this schedule? When were follicles evaluated? Do you remember what day you triggered? Did IUI?

Thank you 🙏🏻

Attempt at a sibling

Any other SMBCs decide to try for a second when finances weren't exactly ideal?

I have one little guy and 4 donor vials left. I've always hoped to give him a sibling if possible, but I'm also at peace if it isn't meant to be—I only plan to try IUI.

What's weighing on me is finances and support. My mom is 75 and has been my biggest support, and she's currently recovering from surgery for skin cancer, so that's added another layer of uncertainty. Although she is one tough cookie and raised my brother and me as a single momma 💙

My fertility doctor is also encouraging me not to wait much longer since I'll be turning 39 in a couple of months, so I feel like I'm trying to balance my heart with what makes sense practically.

My heart really wants a second, but I also have a lot of anxiety about whether it's the right decision. My little guy is the sweetest, happiest kid, and I just want to make the best choice for both of us.

If you've been in a similar situation, what helped you decide? Did you move forward despite the financial uncertainty, or decide one child was the better fit? I'd love to hear how others thought through this.💙
