I’m only asking because our previous SM didn’t know much about pharmacy, but every single day, they came back for about an hour to do all portal calls. Our new store manager does not step foot into the pharmacy unless they’re coming to complain about metrics. We are visibly drowning with the workload and trying to manage with 140 budget hours. Should SM be helping in pharmacy or no?
I recently had a pharmacist at a hospital pharmacy reach out to me about a job opportunity. They want me at their pharmacy, but the guilt I feel for leaving my team is so strong. Walgreens as a company has completely gone under. I feel like a criminal with the bag checks and they’re micromanaging and watching our time like a hawk. Significant budget cuts. But I love my team and I know they’re going to be so angry if I leave. Anyone else in the same boat? This new job is Monday-Friday set schedule and guaranteed 40 hours a week with better pay/no holidays and we will get holiday pay. But my managers love me so much and I know they don’t want to lose me, but at a store level, they can’t offer me any of these benefits. I feel so conflicted.
