Pharmacist Covering Relief Shifts

Hello everyone! Anyone here who has covered shift for a pharmacy for a day or two and was asked to send an invoice? I would just like to get an idea how it’s done. Do we add HST to the agreed hourly rate? Also, anyone who can share a document or photo or sample invoice? Will greatly appreciate any leads. Thanks!

Relief Shift

I just covered a relief shift in a pharmacy. They told me send an invoice but I am not under a professional business. How would I ask for them to pay me? Anyone who can help me please.

New Pharmacist Salary

Negotiate your salary. Do not accept lower than $50 even for positions in GTA. One manager interviewed me for a relief position covering 4 cities and he told me the best he could offer was $48. While this is above living wage, do not forget to factor in years of sacrifices to get to this level. I am an IPG myself, local grads may get higher starting, but don’t let them companies fool you. The risks that come with our job is high. NEGOTIATE!!!

Fillware Training Materials

Anyone who has some Fillware Training materials (modules, training videos etc) who’s kind enough to share to this newbie pharmacist wanting to learn the system? I have been looking for materials but can’t find any. Thanks!

Any IPG here who got into hospital pharmacy?

Basically, I am a graduate from Southeast Asia. I currently work in a hospital but my position is not related to pharmacy. Moreover, I have no work experience in pharmacy other than my hospital internship back then. Do you think I have an edge as an internal applicant? Share your story here.

New pharmacist in a new role and wants to jump to another pharmacy

I am a new hire still on training, however, my schedule is only weekends which sucks. Commute will be an hour each way. I am now doublethinking my decision if it is right. My manager waited for a month for me as I was in vacation when I applied. Should I quit? Just wanna get some insights from you guys. I am applying to a pharmacy near my place \~20mins commute.
